Ms. Isla Rae

13.2 lbs and is screeching like a pterodactyl. She's has been wanting mom constantly and if you remember that's Camris thing. So now both twins cling to mom and want to see her. Isla is rolling everywhere, loves her rattle toys, bright colors and music. With her head full of Cams curly hair, and finally acknowledging sister exists lol. She's very observant and quiet unless provoked. She giggles and laughs so much. She's been teething for a month already.

15 lbs and smiles for days. Giggles for days.
She's very in teething mode. Poor little thing. And cries alot right now when that happens. She loves her teething giraffe, cooing, staring at mom and her galaxy light in the ceiling. She's more vocal than Isla is but they finally talk to one another. Camris hair is straight and turning darker. She's also still ms. Cover girl with pictures. She's also rolling even I'm weighted sleepers.

They are both so precious and loved. They even help mom work sometimes and get to see everyone on calls.

What I can say is yes everything is alot of money nowadays, but at some points you are choosing between taking care of yourself now or being forced to spend 10s of thousands of dollars in the hospital later.

Ever wondered if you are doing everything you can to lose weight?

Hey I see you working hard but not being able to lose an inch.

Or a pound.

Nothing.

You know what this means?

There are problems deeper than the wrong diet or not staying on the plan.

Yep you guessed it, hormone or gut health issues.

Even dieting one Time or more causes it, birth control, traumatic experiences, any form of stress on the body, so when you look to diet or lose fat, you are taught to look in the wrong place.

At diets.🥺

At HIIG workouts.🥺

💚When First and for most you should be taught how to handle stress.💚

Taught 🙏how to treat your body with respect.
It's not your fault either with having any of these issues. As women have been screwed over for decades on how to treat their bodies.

Women also have a huge double standard that stresses them out more of being to cook, clean, take care of husband, take care of kids, also have a full time job and look good.

Women also don't handle stress very well compared to men.

All of these things make women prone to hormone and gut health issues.

So next time you look to lose body fat look towards knowing where your hormone levels are, your gut health, your stress Is in check.

Every feel like the scale rules your life?
😳

This is so true for some many people and I was there at one point in time.

What’s really interesting is we hold weight as a number in a negative light.

We think “160” is so negative and horrible. When in all reality it reflects, your stress, muscle mass, body fat, water retention, inflammation and we look at it as horrible or good when we step on that piece of stainless steel in the morning.

We let it ruin our joy when it can be the GREATEST indicator of something is wrong or if you are actually at a healthy weight.

It is a tool.

Not our emotion.

It teaches us how our body responds to carbs or fats.

How it responds to calories, our stress, water, salt, etc.

When we give it the negative emotion we ruin our whole day by just stepping on it.

Take the emotion out of it so we can firmly understand what your body is doing.

If your weight goes up, that means we can figure out what caused it and adjust! Not get down on ourselves.

Also, your weight will fluctuate constantly so there is NO point in stressing over it as long as we see a weekly trend of decreasing or staying the same pending on your goal, STOP obsessing.

It NEVER defines you.

💛At BBS we use measurements, scale weight, progress photos because you can lose TONS of inches and gain muscle and look 1000x better at a higher weight, that’s actually the BEST outcome
You could have.

💛We also use these tools on hormone And gut health cases so we can see where the progress is, it could be scale weight one week, then progress photos the next or measurements!

Have you ever thought, how do you manage through the holidays with losing weight?

This question I get constantly so I’m addressing it now.

First off, decide.

Are you going to enjoy your holiday  and not worry about dieting

OR

Are you going to stick to the plan?

Now, if you chose enjoy your holiday,  don’t expect weight loss even if you only had one drink, ate til you were full, or only had “one small piece” and that’s OKAY.

Don’t get angry or upset. It was your choice, you aren’t letting anyone down for celebrating Christmas  with the fam.

Now if you chose, sticking with the plan.

I want to ask you did you do it out of fear you would gain a ton of weight if you didn’t follow the plan?

Or did you do it because you have a specific date in mind for a bodybuilding show! Or what did you do it for?

One day won’t ruin your progress, in fact these two week holiday  stretch won’t. It’s the other 351 days you need to worry about.

Now. Option #3, let’s address if you are healing hormones or gut health.

You are still okay to enjoy the holiday,  just be mindful of your body is carb sensitive or fat sensitive instead of binging on what you normally don’t eat creating significant damage. This is something that’s crucial to fixing so you don’t have huge issues with eating carbs or fats on the daily life later.

Other than that?

DECIDE.

Choose what you align with.

And DO NOT get upset if you gain but you chose to enjoy the day or days.

It will come back off it just might take the next week or two to do so. You didn’t gain weight, your body is just storing more, holding sodium and more water 💧😉

We were so close to going home with Isla on Sunday but Isla thinks going home without Camri is stupid.

Right now each of our babies face their own challenges and growth before they go home.

😇Camri needs to have less problems with refluxing so she can continue to finish all her feedings (had the tube taken out today-but we need her to finish all her bottles so it stays out), her oxygen assistance needs to go to room air and pass the 24 hour test, and pass the car seat test.

❤️‍🔥Isla needs to stop dropping her heart rate significantly so she can go home and pass the car seat test.

They are both so close to going home it doesn’t feel real but at the same time it doesn’t feel like they will ever come home.

Whenever you talk to someone with a NICU baby and you can’t relate don’t pretend too. No feeling is worse than going home without your babies.

They need time and I would rather they be in the NICU with fantastic nurses and doctors to help them than be at home and end up going back or issues happening at home.

Cam and I are both really working hard at what we do.

I’m still working with my team at BBS, we are very passionate about helping our women (and men) and if you are new here we help women lose weight with a full body methodology so yes we address hormone And gut health.

Cameron is in the army stationed at fort Carson and he is working the hardest on keeping everything in order for our move when the babies come out of the NICU.

Miss Camri Rain💧🧘🏽‍♀️😎😇
Our calm, cool, and collected angel is 5lbs 3.7 oz now, and she is drinking 75% of her bottles every time.
She is on half a liter of her oxygen and pulled it out of her nose today and was just fine without it for a few hours.
She does reflux alot and they said she would grow out of it within 6 months.
She LOVES her mama and will track her across the room or anywhere she is. 💛

Miss Isla Rae ❤️‍🔥🔥😇❤️

Our spit fire, little baby angel who is 4lbs 11oz, and drinks on average 75% of her bottles every time, she goes in spurts she will drink the whole thing at least 1-2x a day.
She is barely on any oxygen, and did the same thing and pulled her oxygen tube out of her nose. She was sating at 100 the whole time which means she was very happy and comfortable breathing on her own.
She LOVES mama too and will squeal of mom is by her sister.
She’s been a spitfire from day one and fights constantly for what she needs meaning I haven’t been worried about her in the nicu as much. Camri had a rough start.

We are 35 days in here, and we take it day by day because it is very tough.

We will be moving to El Paso, Texas very shortly as Cam is pcsing there for the military. The baby girls have to be good to go first.

We are all busy Here with working and seeing the babies.

We still both work and love what we do helping others and God knew what he was doing giving u s our passions and OUR BABY GIRLS.🙏🏽💛

Ever felt like you needed a mentor but you are trying to figure it ourself to save you time or the hassle?

Hey that was me for a long time especially being in the industry of knowing how to drop weight for people and teach them, BUT as I got older and ran into more issues like STRESS, gut health issues, hormone issues, and the scale just kept going up and up, I KNEW I was out of my league.

That is what is happening to women in the dieting industry we are out of our league with issues especially being so busy running around working all the time, making clients happy, trying to take care of our kids, husbands the house chores, and ourselves 😳

This is our society today as women we are stretched far and thin, then we try to lose weight ON TOP of all of this, yes it is a s**t storm happening.

The more stress you put on the body the more systems you will crash leading to gut and hormone issues.
