hello my name is Barbara Vega
I need to surender. my pitbull named cicso he is two years old'
going on three on nov. 20th. my problem is this I raised this dog. since he was 6 months old with my doberman pincher. both the same age. my pitbull belonged to my son. he gave him to us. because he was not aloud pitbulls in his apartment complex. my husband was not to happy about this. we took him in for my sons sake. the problem was me and my husband worked different shifts. so cisco spend more time with me. and bonded more with me. not with my husband cisco really never came close to him. except for going for walks with him. very happy dog. but has he got older we notice some strange behavior from him. with my husband. when I would come home from work. cisco would nipped at his fingers. and my husband would yell at him for that. cisco would run from him or p*e on the floor. and just recently he nipped him on the arm. my husband wasnt happy about that. so now he doesnt want him here anymore. I contacted other pitbull santuarys. and they told me this can be fixed with a trainner. but my husband made it clear he wants him gone. not only that.but because my my husband is an epileptic. he has grandmal seizures. and if he fell down it would be a problem for my husband and cisco. I dont want to put him down. please if you could help me. or refer me to a santuary. who can take him. and get him the help he needs. thank you Barbara Vega.

My name is Claire and this summer my mom and I found beautiful Lola near death next to the American River in Sacramento, CA. (I live and go to school in Philadelphia full time so I had to leave in August) When we found her she was so very skinny and could barely move, but was very deep in thick brush where we could not reach her. She did not come to people and if someone came close she would move away as best she could. We fed her for about a week before we finally found a rescuer who was willing to come out and help to get her out of the brush. It took about 2 hours, but once she was on the leash she was a completely different dog to the sad one living in the thorny brush. She was happy and full of kisses. Unfortunately, the rescuer and her sidekick said they could not take her because they had no room, so my parents, with no dog experience whatsoever, agreed to foster Lola for a little while, while they helped to find her a home. Well, that didn't happen. They really wanted my parents to become a forever home for Lola so they backed off and stopped trying to find Lola a home. My parents are in between two cities right now and really need to find a rescue for Lola. Lola has fear based aggression towards men (but is getting better with my dad she licks his feet and plays with him, but only when my mom is around) which involves barking, growling, and backing away. She has never attacked, lunged toward, or bitten anyone. She also gets very over excited around other dogs, so the trainer has labeled her unadoptable and suggested she be euthanized because no one will wants a fearful dog. I know this cannot be the case and there has to be someone out there willing to take Lola and have the patience to work with a fearful dog and then find her a loving forever home. She is so beautiful and such a sweetheart. She just loves to cuddle and give and receive love. My parents do not want to drag out the pain if she will be euthanized so it is being planned for about a weeks time. We are so desperate for someone to help. If you know of a rescue, sanctuary, or person that could help please let me know ASAP!! She deserves so much better than this. Thank you for your time.

Regards,
Claire
