Did you know that the American Heart Association recommends 150 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic exercise per week? These guidelines are a starting point for anyone trying to be more active. In addition to the aerobic exercise guidelines they recommend at least 2 days a week of strength training. Are you getting this much activity in?
Yes, I know most of us have goals for our outward appearance….but do you have goals for your health on the inside? If you are struggling to get activity in remember why it is important. Moving your body and being active benefits your body in numerous ways and will help you have a better quality of life. Hiking, biking, walking, sports, HIIT, swimming, and boxing are all ways to get your heart rate up and reap the benefits of activity.
This week make a commitment to move your body and take care of yourself.

I cannot “stress” how valuable and applicable the information in this book is. I’ve listened to it 2x now. If you are someone who struggles with/have struggled with any mood disorders from mild anxiety to bipolar and major depressive disorders this book is absolutely necessary for your health. Even if you don’t struggle with the above, having the knowledge of how beneficial exercise is to the mind and body is vital and will improve your quality of life! I love the audible book form because I can listen in the car, on a run, or whenever I have down time.

STRESS 💣
Is stress “good” or “bad”? While some stress can definitely be perceived as bad, stress is a necessary part of growth. How you perceive stress will change how it effects you even on a hormonal level.
I challenge you to look at the negative stressors in your own life and see how you can shift your perspective of them to benefit instead of hinder you.
