More than 350 age group Team USA athletes will represent the U.S. in the land down under Aug. 15-24 for the World Triathlon Multisport Championships in Townsville, Australia.

The event celebrates multisport and features 19 World Championship races across five levels of athletes including Age Group, Paratriathletes, Junior, Under 23 and Elites.

Sprint and Olympic Distance National Championships is one month away and ensuring the safety of our youth athletes is paramount!

USA Triathlon has implemented required policies from the U.S. Center for SafeSport for one-on-one interactions at events to protect youth athletes from potential harm.

1-On-1 Interactions Must be:
Observable and Interruptible: One-on-one interactions between Minor Athletes and Adult Participants are permitted, as long as they occur within sight and reach of another adult.
Not isolated: One-on-one interactions without adult supervision are strictly prohibited, except in emergency situations.

Together we can ensure that all our youth athletes are safe not only at Nationals, but throughout the Multisport Community.
