Mitchell High School Unified Sports

We are so proud to be a Marauder!! Mitchell consistently shows up for all its students, and makes it a point to include in all aspects of the school and community.

One of our Unified Athletes, James, is proud supporter of Inclusion throughout Mitchell. James uses his own voice, and helps others, to speak up for what matters. This whole week he has helped spread awareness about inclusion and the Spread the Word Campaign. We are proud of you!

Mitchell Unified kicked off Winter Break by competing in the annual D11 Unified Basketball Jamboree! We competed hard against all the D11 high schools and special thanks to Palmer for hosting! Mitchell left the Jamboree winning 2 games and tying 1! We are excited for the rest of our season to continue!

Tonight we honored our 3 amazing senior partners who we couldn’t do this without!! We appreciate you more than you know! Our athletes really showed up to support our Seniors and they bowled the highest they have all season!! 🎳GREAT job Marauders!!

Bowling takes a break next week for Fall Break, but join us October 27th for our next competition! Peak Bowl @ 4pm!

And let bowling competition season begin!! Our MHS Unified Bowling team competed in Special Olympics Regional Bowling Tournament today! We placed 1st and 2nd in our division!! All of the incredible athletes and our amazing partner competed with heart today. Let bowling begin!

We are SO proud of our athletes and partners for such an incredible season!! Every game we play our hardest and that hard work has truly paid off! 2nd place all around!! We can’t thank our partners enough for being role models on the court and demonstrating what it truly means to be inclusive. And to our athletes for continuously showing up and playing their hearts out. What a great season! Go Marauders!!

We have faced Sierra many times without a win. But not tonight! We showed Sierra what Marauders can do for our Senior night. Congratulations on the win!

Mitchell High School Unified Sports is participating in the Polar Plunge for our 2nd year! Last year we raised an incredible $2,000, and this year we’d love to exceed that! If we are able to raise over $1,000 the Mitchell Unified team well be able to keep 50% of the proceeds to use towards new sports equipment, jerseys, field trips, food, etc. We are encouraging anyone (families, athletes, students, teachers, etc.) to join our team and take the plunge with us! If jumping into freezing water isn’t your thing, donations to our brave plungers or sharing our link is appreciated! Thank you all!

2025 regionals wrapped up! We have such an amazing group of athletes that we were able to create a Mitchell Orange and Mitchell Blue team!

They played tough today against some tough teams.

The Mitchell Blue team took 4th today and the Mitchell Orange team took 2nd!

Watch out Denver we’re coming for State next!
