Firearms 101

Hey everyone! It's been a long while since any of have really done anything on this page, but I'd like blow the dust off here, and get our community back up and running! Please if you have friends who are fi****ms enthusiasts or wanting to pick up their first firearm, direct em our way if you wouldn't mind! Also please feel free to send us a message if you have any questions, or if you would feel more comfortbale posting something in general to the page itself! You're more than welcome to do so! So come on guys and gals!

ALSO!!! I am going to be looking for a few new admins! If you're interested in doing so please send a message to this page directly, or to Harrison Grittman, experience with being an admin is a plus, but not required. Extensive knowledge is a must, though I wouldn't mind having a fresh firearm owner as an admin to help with novice questions and ideas to help out the beginning community! So again! Well guys might as well get ak47's while they're still here. They just passed a law banning the importation of ak47's to try to put a dampener on Russia's (Or so they say....) I am contemplating buying and selling some to people, but only if I have enough people to buy, please let me know if you guys are interested.

Hey guys! For those who carry fi****ms (concealed mostly, but hey if you open carry please feel free to chime in!) do you prefer to have a mini (like the NAA 22lr/mag) a compact, a compact or a full sized pistol/revolver?

For an automatic, I generally prefer a full framed firearm, a revolver I'll generally go with a compact, like an air weight Smith and Wesson 38 special.

Please post questions! Or show us what you have in stock! Got a little armory to show off? What better way than to do it with fellow gun owners!

Alright. We all took a hiatus. But!I figured I'd start off with a basic question. Out of most of the popular calibers (45acp, 40 s&w, and 9x19.) which caliber weapon do you chose to protect yourself.

I have been out for a while, as is typical with my job.

As of yesterday, this just went through California:

SB 299 (DeSaulnier) Theft or Loss reporting within 7 days – Passed 41-32
SB 683 (Block) Long gun safety certificate – Passed 44-30
SB 475 (Leno) Gun Shows at the Cow Palace – Passed 42-29
AB 538 (Pan) California gun registry – Passed 50-23 . . .

SB 363 (Wright) Secured storage – Passed 62-8
AB 500 DOJ is now allowed more time to delay delivery of a firearm – Passed 20-14
AB 169 (Dickinson) If you own an older hand gun you can no longer sell it or will it to your children – Passed 21-14
SB 374 (Steinberg) – the Semi-Auto Rifle Ban just passed out of the Assembly – Passed 42 – 30 Abstain 6. It now goes back to the Senate for concurrence and upon approval, will head to the Governor’s Desk.
AB 231 (Ting) which provides that a person commits the crime of “criminal storage of a firearm in the third degree” – Passed 44-28.
AB 711 (Rendon) which will effectively ban hunting in the state by banning lead ammunition – Passed 44-27.

Colorado had their problems that they corrected through proper channels that resulted in two of their State Senators being relieved of their duties and responsibilities. Will Kalifornia do the same? Unlikely. I see dead military-wannabe cops in the future, then an all out fi****ms confiscation with National Guard backing up our out-of-control Law Enforcement community.

But that is my opinion, let's hear yours.
