Drumroll for this week’s Peak of the Week….Jolene! Jolene was a standout in our Saturday game against the Slugs with fierce nonstop tackles and some strong carries! Watching Jolene evolve into the strong rugby player she is now over the past several seasons has been an absolute joy. She brings humor and compassion outside of the pitch that everyone on the team loves.

Your favorite rugby team is starting up a new series! During the season, we’ll announce a Peak of the Week. The Peaks are celebrating players for their on the field and off the field contributions that make our team successful! To kick us off Haley is our Peak of the Week! Haley is a force on the field- bringing stability and expertise to scrums and can often be seen laughing on the field as she goes in for a tackle or gets tackled simply because she loves rugby so much! Off the field she is the team’s hype woman- often found cheering on the team and celebrating other’s successes as much as her own. She also recently volunteered with Girls Rugby to teach her favorite thing- tackling!

Stoked to announced our Peaks of the Match from our game yesterday against Boulder! Cait and Violette, both with their debuts to the Peaks this year, have proved themselves to be forces to be reckoned with on the pitch. Cait has perfected the art of the stiff arm and good luck catching Violette when she’s given the ball!
