If you plan of doing an early registration for the Lady Fastpitch Softball League early registrations must be in by May 01st, 2026. Starting the 02nd of May, 2026 till end of registration, May 16th, there will be an extra charge.

Following are dates to remember for the start and end of our season, playoff dates, championship and all-star game.
Start of season - June 08th
End of season - July 03rd
Games to be played on Tuesday and Thursday nights, 2-5 inning games, makeup games Mondays and Wednesdays
Make up (week) for games - July 06th - July 10th
League Playoffs - July 13th - July 17th
State Tournament - July 20th
All-Star Game - July 22nd

The annual softball meeting for American Legion Lady Fastpitch Softball League has been rescheduled to February the 28th at 10:00 am at post 06, 220 ss Pickens Street, Columbia at 10:00am.

The American Legion Lady Fastpitch Softball manager, coaches and information meeting will be held at 10:00 am at the American Legon Post 06 located at 200 S. Pickens Street, Columbia, SC on January the 31st, 2026.
Any player that is a rising 8 grader and does not turn 20 years old before September 01st of the playing year. We play on Tuesday and Thursdays with regular games being played during the month of June. Playoff Games will be played in July and the State Championship and the lady fastpitch all-star game will be during July with the games being played at Columbia College, Columbia, SC. We need more teams through the state and the girls pay nothing to something minimal depending on the post sponsoring the team.

We are looking for a great year in 2026, so now is the time we start planning. If you would like to know more about our league, the cost to join, and when we have our season, etc., please contact us via our page or our email address at [email protected].
Now is the time to secure your coaches and check on playing fields as the closer we get to the start of the season, coaches and playing fields are hard to come by. We will have an information meeting the latter part of January or first part of February, 2026 to discuss rules and regulations, scheduling, registration fees, etc.

American Legion, Saluda Post 65 sponsored a team for the first time in the American Legion Department of South Carolina Lady Fastpitch Softball League and ended the season as League Champions! Pictured below in the purple jerseys is the coach and some of the girls chosen to represent SaludaxPos65 in the 5th annual Annual All-Star game.

July 16th, 2025, marked the 5th anniversary of the ALSC Lady Fastpitch Softball League All-Star game which was played at Columbia College, Columbia. It was the Piedmont ladies against the Coastal Hill Ladies. The Piedmont Ladies defeated the Coastal Hill Ladies by scores of 6 to 2 and in a nail bitter 1 to 0 with the winning run coming in the bottom of the 5th inning. A very special thank you to Glenn Crawford, Athletic Director, Leighann Newberry, Ladies fastpitch softball coach and the faculty of Columbia College for making these tournaments so great.
July the 16th, 2025 saw the ALSC Lady Fastpitch Softball League present its first ever $1,000.00 Scholarship to Leigh Anne Stork from Post 71 N. Augusta Blue Angels. Congratulations!!

July 14th, 2025 at Columbia College, in Columbia, SC, the Anderson Bombers from Post 14 in Anderson and the Sumter Legends from Post 15 met to play in the the 5th annual state championship for the ALSC Lady Fastpitch Softball League. Both teams were undefeated going into tonight's contest with the Anderson Bombers defeating the Sumter Legends 6 to 1. There were 150 fans in attendance, even with the temperature as hot as it was.

Meet the 2025 All-Star Champions- Piedmont Ladies. 22 girls were selected from 7 different posts including Post 14 Anderson, Greenwood Post 20, Inman Post 45, N. Augusta Post 71 Blue Angels. N. Augusta Post 71 Halos, Saluda. Post 65, and Cowpens Post 125. This is the fith annual ALSC Lady Fastpitch Softball All-Star game and it was played at Columbia College.
They played against the Coastal Hill Ladies and beat them 6 to 2 in the first game and squeaked by the 2nd game with 1 run in the bottom of the fifth inning.

Leigh Anne Strock from N Augusta Post 71 Blue Angels.
Congratulations again to the Peidmont Ladies and Leigh Anna Strock.

Tonight, Monday July 14th, at Columbia College, Columbia, SC two undefeated teams from the Alscladyfastpitch Softball League met.
Anderson Bombers Post 14 defeated Sunter Legends Post 15 in a hard fought 7 inning game 5 to 2.
