Coming to The Newberry Opera House on February 24, 2024. This is a Sponsored SC Eqaulity event as well. Ty Herndon is an Amazing Country artist who came out as gay in a 2014 interview with People magazine, thus becoming the first mainstream male country star to do so. He has done so much for the LGBTQ community. This is a way for SC to show our support to him.

This month we are doing something a little different. Instead of a typical Takeover Columbia event. On Friday, October 20, 2023 head down to Main Street for a evening full of Pride starting with The SC PRIDE Parade and the Street Party which follows.
