No gym? No problem.

Movement while traveling is just as important as your regular routine. Not to mention, it helps combat all the extra sodium and calories that we seem to partake in while on the go.

Bored? *Pun intended obvi*

Grab a stand up paddle board (I’m in love with my ) and get outside on the river or lake. SUPing improves balance, core and body strength, mental clarity, and stress reduction. All while increasing your Vitamin D!

🤯❤️

That’s a lot of bang for your fitness buck!

Are you looking to cut down on your sugar intake?

Check out these 3 healthy substitutions for sugar ↓

Cinnamon hits the same taste buds without adding any sugar. Add it to your protein pancakes, muffins or in your coffee.

Unsweetened shredded coconut is great to add to your energy balls or sprinkle in your oatmeal.

Fruit puree with no sugar added, can help sweeten up dishes and will also help moisten baked goods.

It can be far too easy to mindlessly shovel your food into your mouth when using a fork.

Mindful Eating Tip: put your fork down in between bites. This gives you the time to thoroughly chew, savor and enjoy your meal.

Practice mindfully eating by being aware of and enjoying your food 🙂

Fitness is much more fun with friends!

Why?

💪🏼Finding a friend or two will help keep you accountable and more consistent in your exercise regimen.

😀 They will be there to share your triumphs and achievements.

🩹 And they will be there to lift you up when you’re feeling low. (And maybe to apply a bandaid or two if you crash.

🚨Endurance Athletes 🚨
Don’t forget to incorporate strength training into your regime.

Add some muscle-building activities to your workouts. Free weights, resistance band exercises, muscle sculpt classes or using your body weight with push-ups, planks and squats all work. You’ll run faster, climb hills better, and last longer in that next event.

Did you know that approximately 40% of everything we do on a daily basis is habitual?

This means that we live a large part of our lives on autopilot!

Think about this for a moment and really evaluate your habits.

Do they empower you or suppress you?

Do they restrict you or liberate you?

Do they support or inhibit you from reaching your goals?

“Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.” - Jim Rohn
