Winning in Sports comes down to who has a better ability to see, think and move. Lets face it, the athlete who gets to the point of impact first, usually wins the battle. This is what Agility is in sports. Ladders and cone drills do not train agility, but merely work on footwork and change of direction. Although these are important in sports, True Agility is the backbone of sports performance.
The most crucial component of agility for sports is the ability to recognize and react to a visual stimulus. In sports, this is an athlete reacting to his opponent or environment. What are you doing to train athletes to react to visual stimulus? Coaches rely on 2 main types of drills. One is the mirroring of another athlete and the other is the coach giving a visual cue. If the coach is having to produce a form of cue, the coach is not coaching, but being a drill instructor.
There is a vast difference in the body's response to a predictable movement, versus a completely random stimulus. Studies have shown that the muscle contraction speed is 7 times higher with a reflexive response to random stimulus (VR3/game situation), as compared to a predetermined effort. (cones or ladder) This is why most injuries occur during game situations or high intense practices. By training with static drills, (cones or ladders) soft tissues are only stressed to the constraints of the drill.
Over the last 8 months, VR3 has developed and perfected drills with pro and high caliber college athletes. During the initial use of VR3 we had to keep the volume of drills and duration below what we expected. These athletes noticed their joints (soft tissue) seemed to be getting more sore than usual "agility" training. This proved the use of VR3 exceeded any expectation of the ability of VR3 to strengthen soft joint tissue, which in turn would reduce stress related injuries due to lack of specific training. Over time and with progression, they were handling an increased volume with ease and their joints actually felt better than before.
Have a look at pro and college athletes performing a couple drills on the VR3 system during actual agility sessions. Even hear from professional football player Chris Frey talk about how the VR3 system has been instrumental in his knee injury comeback. Shown are just a few of the hundreds of drills that can be used with the VR3 system. You will see, this drills mimic real game situations, more so than the use of static drills most athletes perform when preparing for or during a sports season.

Summer is almost here!!! What are you going to do to improve your agility?
Run from cone to cone??
Run thru a ladder??
Run over raised barriers??
This is not true AGILITY. This is learning to make movements however you set up the drill. Real game situations are constantly changing on multiple levels. Have a system that simulates these changing situations.
VR3 is the key to your success. Random Visualization Recognition and Reaction is what athletes have to do during real game situations. Why are you not practicing this??
Pros from the NFL, CFL, PLL and NBA all train on the VR3 system. Want to train like the pros?? You can... with VR3
