The girls had a great weekend going 5-1 while playing up in a 14u tournament. Unfortunately we came up a little short in the championship game. It has been pretty incredible to see how far every one of these girls have came since last fall. Although this season has ended, I think we are all excited about their potential for their 13u season!

This weekend marked the last 12U tournament for these incredible girls. We faced some outstanding competition and ultimately came up short against a very impressive Lasers team today. While it wasn’t the ending they had hoped for, it was some of the best softball we’ve seen them play.
Their determination, heart, passion, and unwavering support for one another were on full display. As coaches, we hold these girls to a high standard, but the truth is—they hold themselves and each other to an even higher one. That kind of accountability, selflessness, and love for their teammates can’t be taught overnight. It’s built through countless hours, challenges, and shared experiences.
The heart this team showed today is something every coach hopes to see. Watching them compete with grit, encourage one another through every inning, and leave everything they had on the field was incredibly rewarding. Moments like these remind us that we’re not just coaching softball—we’re helping shape strong, resilient, compassionate young women.
To our players: we couldn’t be prouder of who you’ve become, both on and off the field. Thank you for trusting us, working hard, and giving everything you had.
To our parents: thank you for your endless support, sacrifices, and belief in this team. We couldn’t do this without you.
While we’re sad to close the chapter on 12U, we’re even more excited for what lies ahead. The future is incredibly bright for this group, and we can’t wait to watch them continue to grow.
Here’s to the memories we’ve made, the lessons we’ve learned, and the next chapter.

Super proud of this group of girls and everything they accomplished this weekend. We battled our way to the Final 8 before coming up just short against a very talented Lasers Steed team.
In today’s world of softball, where free agency has created so much movement, it’s truly a blessing to coach a team that continues to put each other first. No matter the situation—whether we’re short a player or someone is asked to step into a different role—these girls embrace the challenge with positive attitudes and unwavering support for one another.
I couldn’t be more grateful for this incredible group of athletes and the amazing families who stand behind them. Looking forward to what’s ahead!

Some decisions are bigger than softball.
After a great deal of thought and many conversations about what is best for our players and their future, we’re excited to share that our team will be joining Thunder Elite this fall.
While we’ll be wearing different colors and representing a new organization, the heart of this team isn’t changing. The friendships, trust, memories, and family atmosphere we’ve built together over the years will continue to be the foundation of everything we do.
We are incredibly thankful for our time with Ohio Storm. The experiences we’ve shared, the challenges we’ve overcome, and the countless memories we’ve made together have helped shape our team into what it is today. We will always be grateful for the people who have been part of that journey.
As coaches, there is nothing more important to us than providing opportunities for our athletes while preserving the culture that makes this group so special. Thunder Elite gives us the chance to continue growing while staying true to who we are.
This isn’t the end of one story—it’s the beginning of another.
The same girls who have laughed together, battled together, and supported each other through every win and loss will continue to do so. The same coaches, but most importantly, the same family that have made this team so special remains intact.
We’re excited for what lies ahead and grateful to have all of you with us as we begin this next chapter.

Im gonna brag on this team a little bit. But Im going to brag about the parents first... whether its helping coach a base, keeping GC, running the video of GC, or taking tournament shirt orders,this group of parents really is special. We play a style of ball that is "team first". May require a sac bunt, or play a position of need. These families have supported it EVERY STEP. To hear ALL our families cheer for the next kid as their own, is pretty special.
With great parents, come great kids. Their determination and grit this weekend was unbelievable. For most of our team, they played kids twice their size. They didnt show an ounce of fear. They played as a team and even being down a couple players fought their way through... every single parent and player should be proud of these girls.
Scary part is, we still havent played our best softball...

What a weekend! To go undefeated on a weekend at the Firefighters Memorial is not only impressive, but it really says a lot about this group! The girls showed character, growth, development, passion, and most importantly their love for one another.
To know this team/parents is to know love, commitment, and dedication to one another! They sacrificed, they worked and they’ve earned all their success! Although it wasn’t the outcome we wanted due to the rain, this group is really something special!! All congratulations to the families and players!! On to the next!
