We’re excited to welcome Candice () as a co-facilitator of our Black Girl Receive Summer Gathering on Saturday, July 6, from 10-3 pm at Alum Creek State Park! 🌞✨🌿
Candice, will be grounding us in the morning with a yoga flow + dance to help unleash our energy and empower us to receive! 🧘🏾♀️💃🏾
Candice Igeleke, a chocolate-brown-skinned African American woman with colorful locs and glasses from Brooklyn, New York who has creative passions that intersect education, yoga, dance, and various art mediums. She is the CEO and Director of Candice Flows LLC, an innovative consulting and performance-based company. Candice studies and moves through the genres of Traditional West African, Hip Hop, Contemporary modern, HBCU-style dance, and African Diaspora-inspired movement, making her movements flow inside eclectic choreography that truly displays her love for a diverse array of dance. Candice currently teaches at the Flux and Flow Dance and Movement and can be seen performing at events around the city. Connect with her on all platforms.

Meet Us ON THE AVE! Juneteenth On The Ave 2024! This Saturday, June 15th from 12-6pm on Mt. Vernon Ave (Between 17th street and St. Clair Ave)
👀 We’ll be dancing at the opening libation ceremony at 12pm at Mayme Moore Park.
Juneteenth is celebrated annually, usually on the 19th of June to mark the date when some of the last enslaved people in the Confederacy were notified of their freedom following the Civil War. Juneteenth on the Ave.™ is set to take place on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm in the heart of Bronzeville Columbus with a the city-wide, family-friendly celebration and commemoration of Freedom.
