This is one that really resonated with me when I read it.
It’s a tough pill to swallow.
We all say we would die for our kids, but would you do what it takes to live for them?
✅Would you change your lifestyle habits to be healthier?
✅Would you eat healthy meals?
✅Would you not overdo it on the alcohol?
✅Would you workout because it’s good for your body?
My babies are such a good source of motivation, let them be yours! 🖤

You pop open your Instagram app and you see your favorite influencer doing a swipe workout and you think to yourself “if I do that workout I’ll look like that!” Right??
Wrong.
What works for one person may not work for another which is why nutrition needs to be custom tailored to each person.
General cookie cutter plans don’t take into account your progress, or potentially when you stall and need changes made.
What happens when you follow your individualized plan?

There are more ways than just the scale to measure progress.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Using the scale helps see the full picture, it’s just a piece of the puzzle.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But there are plenty of examples where the scale doesn’t move or actually increases and body composition changes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Using the number on the scale is just one of the tools in the toolbox. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

These are just a few examples of other items that can be monitored to gauge progress. So don’t get hung up on the scale! 🖤

“What’s for dinner”
The dreaded question in our house🤣 I loathe it. I’m not huge into cooking and I blame my time as a competitor where I mostly just ate chicken and rice and vegetables. Unseasoned. With mustard 🤣
But now my husband wants a little more than that and I can’t blame him haha. I’ve been trying to get into the Pinterest recipes or ask my mom and sister when they have good ones because they’re great at cooking.
On the swipe I posted the SW chicken casserole which has become one of our family favorites ! I cook the rice & chicken through separate so that all I have to do is heat up everything else in the casserole dish with a little bit of cheese on top. It’s an easy dish which is something we all could use these days 🤩🖤

What are your biggest dreams?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Why do we have the hardest time sharing this? For me I know I can be a big dreamer and sometimes have trouble putting the actions associated with my dreams because I have so many. I become a bit indecisive. What has helped me over the last few months to really narrow down my dreams and goals is to journal it all out. Writing everything down and establishing a plan has been so crucial for success! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

For me, it would be to raise my own kids one day. As much as we are so blessed to have found amazing nannies- part of me cringes at the fact that I have to watch them grow up from a far. I love being a working mom, but I know most working moms struggle with this fact. And if by some grace of God you don’t then please, what are your secrets? Help a sis out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Finding a partner who wanted to build a life together was so important to me. Max and I have come so far from when we first started dating. Sometimes it’s so easy to get caught up in where you want to be that you forget to look back and see all of the things you’ve already accomplished. I always try to remind myself:
Appreciate where you are while working for what you want.
Max and I are busting our tails behind the scenes and have a lot in store for 2022! 🖤
