2026 UCI BMX Racing World Championships - Brisbane
IMPORTANT UPDATE: 2026 NT BMX Calendar & The Road to Brisbane
The 2026 season is shaping up to be a big year in BMX in Australia! With the UCI BMX World Championships coming to Brisbane, the national racing calendar has seen a significant reshuffle to accommodate this massive event.
To ensure all our NT riders have the best opportunity to compete on the national stage and be part of this historic year for Australian BMX, we have made the following adjustments to our local schedule:
Territory Series 2026: To give everyone clear air to travel and participate in the national reshuffle, there will be no Territory Series in 2026. But don't worry—it will be back bigger and better in 2027!
NT Territory Championships 2026: We are heading to the Red Centre! Red Centre BMX will proudly host the Territory Championships on September 25, 26, and 27, 2026.
We want to see the NT contingent out in force across the country in 2026, culminating in an epic celebration of BMX in Alice Springs this September.
Start planning, keep training, and let’s show the rest of Australia what the NT community is made of!

New Podcast: Joris Daudet & Chase Bicycles
I think everyone has seen the news this week about Joris Daudet and Chase Bicycles. After sitting back and reading everything, and talking to some people closer to the situation, it seemed the online vibe was very one-sided—favoring Joris, and all respect to him, by the way.
I reached out to Christophe Leveque for his take. After being friends with him for over 30 years, and knowing the background of how he has done a lot for many people over the years (including me), I wanted to understand the situation more clearly.
After our chat, I spoke with Dr. J and we decided to record a podcast to discuss the matter. After posting the pod yesterday, we’ve already received a lot of messages on the subject, and it seems like some of the original opinions are shifting now that more information has come out.
I have no idea whether the Joris/Chase situation can or will be resolved. We’ll see what happens over the next few weeks.
