Up next for 2017A Rebraca 💣🏒

No games this week—just work. Two on-ice practices and an off-ice session to keep building, learning, and getting better together.

Practice doesn’t make perfect. Practice makes us stronger. 💪

Keep putting in the work, Cannons 🔥

Today’s off-ice practice was about more than just getting reps in. 💪🏒

Our Cannons spent time watching game tape, learning from their shifts, and talking through the game together before heading outside to get moving.

At this age, development isn’t just about skating faster or shooting harder. Learning to see the game, understand positioning, recognize opportunities, and learn from mistakes is just as important. Building hockey IQ now helps turn good players into smarter, more confident players on the ice.

We love seeing these kids put in the work—even when the skates are off. ❤️💙

Every practice, every rep, every opportunity to improve matters. Show up. Work hard. Get better. 🔥

🏒❤️WELCOME TO THE CANNONS, NICOLE! ❤️🏒

We’re excited to officially introduce Nicole Morgan as Team Manager for the Columbus Cannons 2017A Rebraca team!

Nicole has been alongside Coach Eric as a team manager since day one in Columbus, and she is truly exceptional at what she does. As a teacher, Nicole brings that same organization, communication, patience, and attention to detail to our hockey family — and our players, coaches, and parents all benefit from it.

Throughout the season, you’ll hear from Nicole plenty through emails, team chats, schedules, reminders, and parent updates. Her goal is to make sure everyone has the information they need, when they need it, so our coaches can focus on the players and our families can focus on enjoying the experience.

Behind the scenes, Nicole is also a tremendous advocate for our program, managing relationships and communication with coaches, team managers, tournament officials, and others throughout the hockey community. There is a LOT that goes into keeping a hockey season organized, and we are incredibly fortunate to have Nicole keeping all those moving pieces together.

Welcome to the Cannons family, Nicole! ❤️🤍💙

🏒 Welcome to the Cannons, Coach Bryan Larrison! 🏒

We’re excited to welcome Bryan Larrison to the Columbus Cannons 2017A Rebraca coaching staff this season!

Bryan joins us with an incredible amount of hockey experience. After playing professionally in the ECHL, he transitioned into a highly respected coaching career, working with the AAA Blue Jackets, St. Charles, and Westerville High School programs. He was also part of the coaching staff that helped the AAA Blue Jackets become the first Central Ohio team to win the prestigious Quebec International Pee-Wee Tournament. 🏆

Bryan brings an incredibly high hockey IQ along with a calm but firm teaching style that will help our players grow fundamentally, strategically, and mentally. He’s already bringing new ideas to our program, including helping us utilize AI tools and video analysis as we prepare for the season ahead.

We’re incredibly fortunate to add his experience, knowledge, and perspective to this coaching staff.

Welcome to the Cannons, Coach Bryan!🏒💥

🏒 WELCOME TO THE CANNONS, COACH ADAM!✨

We’re excited to officially welcome Adam Steranko as an Assistant Coach for the Columbus Cannons 2017A Rebraca team!

Adam has been alongside Coach Eric since the beginning in the BJHL and has continued to be an important part of this group’s development. He grew up playing Tier I hockey in Dallas before going on to play collegiately at Ohio University.

Over the last two years, Adam has continued to grow tremendously as a coach. He brings an incredible combination of skill, hockey knowledge, positivity, and energy to the rink, and our players respond so well to his ability to teach the game in ways that make sense to young players.

And let’s be real — every season, the kids see Adam step on the ice and immediately think he’s the coolest guy in the building. 😂 His ability on the ice gives them something to look up to, while his personality and coaching style allow him to genuinely connect with them.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have his experience, energy, and leadership on our bench.

Welcome to the Cannons, Coach Adam! 💥🏒🥅
