For all the followers of The First Tee of Columbus. We will no longer be housed under Columbus State Community College. Columbus State Community College has decided not to continue its relationship with The First Tee. As unfortunate as this is, we send our regards out to the families, participants, and partners that we have worked with in the past. Hopefully you will be notified by the College or The First Tee of its whereabouts in 2013.

Who watched the golf action this past week? What a great golf weekend. The United States Women's team lost to Great Britian & Ireland but it was a great match. Congratulations to Bill Haas for a great victory. I was able to witness all Nine Core values that we stress to our participants. Hopefully, they were watching!!!!!!!

Tip of the Month: A players grip, stance, posture and alignment directly effects the outcome of each shot. How many of you practice this daily, weekly or monthly? Rather than hitting a thousand shots a week throwing bandaids on your golf swing, try practicing your basic fundamentals and techniques at home to improve your swing. Practice posture at work, at home and when you take a walk or run. Remember to keep your head up, shoulders back and your back straight. You will see improvement at the range andon the golf course. Let me know what you think!!!!!!!!!!!!
