Culture Day is an annual event intended to bring together Walqayt Tsegedeh Ethiopians residing in North America, with a particular focus on the Columbus community. However, this event is not limited to our community only. We welcome anyone and encourage everyone who is interested in celebrating this family friendly event with us.
The Culture Day event features daytime and evening activities such as youth football, women volleyball, adult soccer, cultural showcase cultural dance, fashion show, collaborative learning, entertainment from popular Ethiopian performer and authentic Ethiopian cuisines. We strongly believe the Culture Day event is great way to preserve our culture and it is the best way to pass it on to the next generation.
