Forever indebted to the brave men and women who gave all. This Memorial Day, we remember the sacrifice behind the freedom.

Not archery…yes we know…but Superhero themed field day today was special !

Along with typical superheroes, we honored and did activities related to the heroes among us… Everyday heroes like first responders, fireman 👨‍🚒 , medical 🏥, even therapy dogs as heroes, parents, and teachers…we made customized capes for each staff, honoring teachers as heros. 🦸 🦸‍♀️

Speaking of parents, our over 130 parent volunteers were absolutely amazing, truly remarkable. So many dressed for the occasion… Tremendous enthusiasm for some tricky stations… what a sight to see🙌

From the Thor hammer hold to first responders rescue to parents as heroes relay….they were amazing! 🤩

Hot day…lots of water stations and awesome attitudes and smiles! 😃

Thanks to ao many folks who contribute so much to make this such a special celebration for our school community! 🥳

11th place at nationals for the Bluffsview archery team and 11 of the 24 archers shot a new personal best! 🤩

A special congratulations also goes out to Jacob H and Ella G, who each received special sportsmanship pins from a Range Official for their behavior, attitude, and sportsmanship while shooting and scoring for their lane mates. That recognition means a great deal because it reflects character, not just scores.

Congrats on a strong finish! 💪🏼🏹🎯😃

Had lots of fun at the National Championships in Louisville, Kentucky yesterday!

We had 11 of our 24 archers shoot personal bests — amazing!

High standards are easier to hold when you truly believe kids are capable of meeting them…and we expect a lot because we believe kids are capable of a lot. 😃

We are currently sitting in 4th place, though many strong teams still shoot today.

Our team scored 10 points higher than we did at States, and improvement is always the goal.

Thank you to our parents, staff, and especially our archers for all of the support, effort, determination, and dedication throughout the season. We’ve loved this team all year long for many reasons beyond archery. 😀

Also worth celebrating…three of our archers received special sportsmanship awards while shooting and scoring with their lane mates. That says a lot about the kind of team this is.

Scores can be seen and sorted here: https://nasptournaments.org/TournamentDetail.aspx?tid=15343

Each archer who registers for a session will be allotted 30 arrows during their selected time block. Archers may use the full session to complete their arrows and may shoot at their own pace within that time.

Registration Fees: $5 per archer, per session - advance registration is strongly encouraged, as space is limited and sessions may fill quickly.
