The ride is on for this coming Saturday, September 6. Rain looks to be very early in the morning. Even if it does rain early, it looks like things will be dry by the time the ride starts.

Here is our route for Saturday, September 9, leaving at 9 AM from One Love Cafe and Bike Shop in Granville.

Fairly easy ride on the outbound with two easy hills. The return is a little bit harder coming up Canyon Road and hooking up to the end of the bike trail in Newark just off of Main Street. 40 miles. No harder than anything we have done so far.

There is an excellent diner in Buckeye Lake and that is our destination, but we can certainly discuss alternatives before we leave on Saturday.a

Tentative ride for next Saturday, September 6. I still have to verify the cue sheet. To the Buckeye Lake Diner and return. And, this is assuming the group does want to stop at the diner for late breakfast/early lunch. Let’s have your feedback on this! If there’s no desire to stop at the diner, then instead of going all the way into Buckeye Lake, we will go into Millersport instead.

Group ride Monday LABOR DAY 9 AM

Leave from Westerville Rec Center on Cleveland Avenue - meet at the E-vehicle parking/charging area.

Going to Centerburg and return. This is an out and back ride with a total of 42 miles. 95% bike trail ride. No hills. No cue sheet or RIdeWithGPS required.

Stop at the diner in Galena on the outbound. We usually stop on the return but they will be closing early on Labor Day. If you do not want to stop you can just keep going on up the trail. Rosie’s Rest Stop in Centerburg will be open.

Possible route for next weekend. what do you all think? Too far? This is Granville to Centerburg and back. Stop in Centerburg for a break at the coffee shop. Pretty flat ride. The hardest part is up Loudon Street as we leave Granville.
