German Village Hobnobbers

The lads took the field today for our home opener against the Mansfield Independents in a spirited match of vintage base ball. Fine weather, finer company, and not a single modern convenience in sight. Save perhaps for the Bush Light Apple.

It was such a fun Sunday of vintage base ball at the Ohio Cup! It was great to be included and take part in this tradition.

Glory to the game we love, reconnecting with old friends, and making new ones. The weather was perfect and the ball bounced wherever it wanted. Loved the new venue!

Huge thanks to the Ohio Village Muffins and all of their volunteers for hosting and organizing the festival. Thanks to the teams we faced, and thanks to all the friends and family who came out to root us on.
