Tom was a true friend and a bright light in the vintage base ball community, known everywhere for his huge heart, deep kindness, and love of the game. He welcomed every new player and fan with a warm smile and a handshake.

The lads took the field today for our home opener against the Mansfield Independents in a spirited match of vintage base ball. Fine weather, finer company, and not a single modern convenience in sight. Save perhaps for the Bush Light Apple.
