Martavis is a 2014 NFL Draft Pick, Round 4 - Pick 118 Overall to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also played for the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys. He was born in Calhoun Falls, South Carolina and was a 4-star recruit coming out of high school named to first-team all-state his senior year recording 70 receptions for 722 yards and 11 touchdowns at T.L. Hanna High School in Anderon, SC. Throughout his NFL career Martavis accumulated 145 receptions for 2,183 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Martavis is a record-setting NFL wide receiver first recorded by his five touchdown receptions in his first three games of his career set NFL Record. Then set another NFL Record during a Week 10 game versus New York Jets with four receptions and 143 yards, one of the receptions was an 80-yard touchdown. Another NFL record achieved was his sixth touchdown in four games was later tied by now Calvin Ridley, WR, Tennessee Titans.

We are all excited for the return to glory for Martavis throughout this redemption journey so that he can focus on being the best NFL football player he can be and being a grateful teammate and being a better man serving his community and the people who support his growth and development. Already part of NFL history, he is determined to exemplify character traits of a role model to the younger generation and as a father himself.

Congratulations to former sports training client, Head Coach Brian Wanamaker... on his well-deserved upgrade promotion to Head Coach at his college alma mater at Texas Wesleyan.

it's amazing to see student-athletes growth from the sports training. Because one of the key components of the sports training we did at my facility (before selling in 2011) is that we work with Academics as much as Athletics. Thanks to Basketball Aficionado Rasool Hajj in Philadelphia for bringing the twins to my attention and believing in the quality of sports performance coaching that led his twin brother Brad to the NBA after a successful climb from Roman Catholic High School to University of Pittsburgh... and Brian's fit to make an immediate impact at Texas Wesleyan. I know dad and mom were more than proud on their impact on others.

Brian's perseverance is just as strong as his former teammate and another former training client Head Coach Maalik Wayns...Wayns was hired as the new head coach of Camden High School's boys basketball team, succeeding Rick Brunson, who departed to join the New York Knicks coaching staff. As a former high school teacher at Rockford Christian HS in Illinois and Sports Performance Training student-athletes in Philadelphia, PA... it's a blessing to be part of the journey of young people on their rise and their to support them by just being there.

Proud of Brian, Brad, Maalik, and all the student-athletes I was able to guide on their journey of life. Keep grinding fellas!

Here at the Ohio State high school football camp with my boy from Penn State Football, Leonard Humphries father of Josh Humphries who participated. Josh ran a smooth 4.42 x 40 yard dash (hand-timed). Hump and I been cool since our days at Penn State during his college playing years 1988-1992 and then his defensive back NFL days with the Colts 1992 - 1995. It’s fabulous to have friendships try last thirty plus years. Even better, that friend can meetup any time and still bond like it was the first we used to hangout or study together or play basketball in the IM Building. I remember Hump crossover well, he hand guys on skates always.

Blessed my new friend the past 5 years, Coach Devin L Jordan, Wide Receiver Coach of The Ohio State Football. Forgot to get a pic with our other Penn State Football alumni Coach Tony Johnson, new Running Back Coach and former Penn State Coach, now Coach Larry Johnson, Assistant Head Coach and Defensive Line Coach - both coaching The Ohio State Buckeyes. I first was connected Devin by our mutual friends Sommer when I needed to hire some football coaches for an Ohio State Football Camp before we had all this N. I. L. Sponsorships now for camps.

My friend and Penn State Administrator, Curt Marshall ingrained a phrase in me I forever relay to people…. “If you’re not NET-working…then you’ll soon be NOT-working!”

Thankful for the opportunity give back to the community with my friends as we hosted another FREE Youth Football Camp for Coach Butler's 16th Annual Football Camp... the kids all had a great time. Appreciative of the NFL players that came out to support as much as all the volunteers that helped make the football camp a success for the kids and the community.
