For our Columbus location alone, we received 80+ applications (and just under 200 across all locations!!) and WOW… y’all did not make this easy.

So many of you shared stories of Disc Golf glory — but more importantly, you shared how Disc Golf has impacted your life… and how you want to pass that impact along to others. Honestly, it was incredibly encouraging to see this many people show up with one goal in mind: Grow the sport.

I wish I could’ve added even more players, but I had to draw a line somewhere. After a few sleepless nights, I can confidently say I’m damn proud of the crew we’ve put together.

This team is going to grow disc golf in 2026 through the connections we build, the events we support, and the community we create. And to paraphrase a line from Grant Hauger's application:

“I did not have much of a chance to get seriously hooked on disc golf in my youth because of the absence of good courses… I would love to see disc golf as a real option for folks… As far as I can tell, there are plenty of opportunities for that to change.”

That’s exactly what we’re doing. Disc Golf is going to grow in 2026 — and this community is going to help lead it.

2025 was the first sponsored team that we've supported and let me tell you, I learned a lot from the program. Our team goal was the grow the game and I'm going to call it mission accomplished. Our team gave away hundreds of discs to new players, volunteered their time to help us run multiple events including 2 events at pop up courses, and found time to get a few rounds & put together a successful season.

We're building off of the success from last year & expanding the team to have 3 types of sponsorship all focused on growing Disc Golf from different perspectives - casual players, tournament players, and junior players. No matter your skill level, social media presence , or number of discs in your collection, if you're passionate about growing disc golf, then reach out about finding a spot on our sponsored team.

I started playing disc golf back in college, so when conversations began this fall about how DGM could support the team, I couldn’t wait to get involved. So many players get introduced to the game while in college and what an opportunity to grow the sport by growing our OSU Disc Golf Club!

Both the Brick & Mortar Box and the Standard Box will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 11 a.m. when we open. The Standard Box is $120, and the Brick & Mortar Box is $160.
