Hudson the Giant Schnauzer ๐Ÿถ Went all the way to Missouri for this dude. Got him at about 8 weeks old and he was about 14lbs. He is roughly 15 weeks old now and he is already up to 32 lbs! He is supposed to get up to 120-130lbs. I love him as a puppy but man do I want to fast forward to when he is full grown. Gonna be a majestic beast ๐Ÿ˜‚

You're probably thinking,"Tyler, why would you post a pic of you and your woman and relate it to stress?"โฃ. Also, why in front of Starbucks?? Iโ€™ll get to the first question, but my girl chose the beautiful aesthetic Starbucks window .

๐…๐ข๐ง๐š๐ง๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ and ๐ซ๐ž๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฉ stress are the most prominent stressors that humans endure. Any type of stress can be extremely ๐˜ฅ๐˜ฆ๐˜ต๐˜ณ๐˜ช๐˜ฎ๐˜ฆ๐˜ฏ๐˜ต๐˜ข๐˜ญ to your fitness/health. Other forms of stress include chronic dieting, lack of sleep, negative self talk, etc.โฃ

Stress is something that ๐๐„๐„๐ƒ๐’ to be managed to ensure you will be able to see results with your fitness journey.โฃ

So to answer the question as to why I posted my woman and I, is because she brings nothing but peace, reassurance, stability, and happiness to my life. That doesn't mean we don't have an occasional conflict.. but its our astounding communication that gets us through the issues and makes us grow stronger as a couple.โฃ

If your relationship doesn't bring you growth, happiness, peace, and the other things mentioned above, you really need to think long and hard about what your future looks like with or without that person. Relationship stress is much more easy to manage (in my opinion) over the financial stress. You have way more control over the relationship side of things. You absolutely still have control of the financial side, but there are more factors involved overall.โฃ

Managing stress is just as important as your workouts, diet, amount of sleep you get, amount of water you intake, amount of steps you get per day, getting your micronutrient intake, etc.โฃ
โฃ
If you make this a priority, you will notice a much higher quality of life, as well as, increased progress with your training and body composition.

There could be a number of reasons you are struggling to lose fat, build muscle, etc. However, let me go into detail with the 2 main reasons. โฃ

๐˜๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐จ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐š ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ง. When it comes to nutrition and your training program, you need strategy. If you have no idea how much food you need to eat based on what youโ€™re trying to accomplish, whether itโ€™s losing fat or building muscle, how the heck do you expect to ever achieve your goal? Same thing with your training programmingโ€ฆ even if your nutrition is on point, if youโ€™re doing random exercises all of the time, not focusing on good form, range of motion, proper contractions, ego lifting, not focusing on progressive overload, etc, you will never get where you want to be. Doing random things, will get you random results. You will end up grinding your gears and not going anywhere, just to get frustrated and give up.โฃ
โฃ
๐’๐จ๐ฅ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: Educate yourself. Either via your own research, with trial and error, or hire a coach to teach you everything you need to know to sustain the lifestyle getting you in alignment with your goals.โฃ

๐˜๐จ๐ฎ ๐๐จ๐งโ€™๐ญ ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ข๐ง ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก. Most people stay comfortable in the gym. Not training anywhere near failure.. leaving so many reps in reserve because they canโ€™t take the pain. The second they feel any sort of burn, they drop the weight. To be honest, the weight you select on your working sets should scare you. There needs to be intense mental prep and focus before you go into your primary sets for each exercise. Remember thisโ€ฆ you should be lifting as heavy as possible all while maintaining as perfect form as possible. Also, incorporating maximum efficiency with as little volume as possible. Training for Hypertrophy (max lean muscle growth) is all about maximizing force output on the muscles in a certain rep range. Think about that, if you arenโ€™t training with heavy weights or anywhere near failure, are you able to maximize your force output?? Absolutely not.โฃ

When something goes wrong with our cars, what do we normally do? We take it to a mechanic. We donโ€™t care about the cost because we know we need to get the issue fixed so we can continue to go on with our lives. Itโ€™s necessary to have a car for a lot of reasons, so we do what we have to, to keep it running and in good condition. โฃ
โฃ
So ask yourself, why do you not reach out to a fitness/nutrition coach when youโ€™re struggling to keep your body running efficiently and looking the best? I mean, we get one physical body here on earth and yet, some of us treat our materialistic things with more respect. Our bodies should be treated as temples. How you treat yourself, is going to dictate the quality and quantity of the life you haveโ€ฆ unless you get hit by a dump truck, shot, blown up, etcโ€ฆ but you get the point. โฃ

Letโ€™s go back to the mechanic example. You take your car into the mechanic because you trust they will find the issue with the car, and fix it fairly quick. You know you need to have the repairs done, so you pay whatever is quoted because you know in order to go on about your life, you need your car to be operational.โฃ

So again, why are you hesitant to pay for a coach that can pinpoint your issues or obstacles, as well as put a plan together that can create change and a healthier lifestyle for you?โฃ

A coach has experience, education and offers structure, accountability and motivation. By hiring a coach, you are gaining their knowledge and experience in a very short time. Itโ€™s like having a cheat sheet to a testโ€ฆ the coach may have put years and years into research as well as a good amount of money into courses to gain knowledge to help you. You get to reap the benefits in a much shorter time frame than it took for them to get that knowledge.โฃ

Iโ€™ve been in the military 13, almost 14 years now. Between my active duty years and my reserve years, it is crazy to see how much our career, gear, tactics have changed. Also, the amount of experience I have gained and continue to gain from my brothers in arms, is invaluable. No matter how many years of service I have and no matter how much experience I have, I will always be a sponge. The second you say you know everything, you lose. Always be learning.โฃ

In todayโ€™s world, we are forced to change the way we operate. Technology changes. Our enemy changes. Our terrain changes. But guess what, we will always adapt and overcome. Thatโ€™s why we are the worlds greatest military force. I am proud as f**k to serve our great country.
