Learning and mastering the foundational skills takes years before you need to be worried with any kind of nuance. The foundational skills will get you to where you want to be. Just like anything in life, when you put in the upfront work to learn a new skills, it will pay dividends and rewards you the rest of your life.

Do you need to do it forever? No, but it will help you with these things:
- Learn what macronutrients are and why they’re important
- Become aware and control your portion sizes

You’re not going to get there by guessing or “feeling” your way through it. You need to be able to capture tangible data and know how to manipulate that data for your benefit. This may sound complex but I’ll tell you that it’s NOT and anyone can master these skills.
