What a privilege to hear from Dr. Ericka Velez-Bonet, Dr. Kristyn Gumpper-Fedus, and Adaliz Torres-Rosado at our season kickoff.
Members of the Cruz-Monserrate Research Lab Team, their work supported in part by Pelotonia dollars focuses on pancreatic cancer and the impact of diet, obesity, and exercise.
They shared what inspired them to pursue cancer research, how the Pelotonia community fuels their work, and what it means to be part of a woman-led research team.
We are so grateful for their time, their insights, and the work they do every day.
