Did you know that when it comes to inspecting medical equipment like rigid and flexible endoscopes and laparoscopic insulation, meticulous examination is absolutely crucial? 💡 Did you know that has testing equipment to help with these inspections?

📌 Endoscopic inspection & testing plays a vital role in ensuring the efficacy and safety of these devices, as they are used in various minimally invasive procedures that benefit countless patients worldwide. 🌍

👁️‍🗨️ Rigid and flexible endoscopes are meticulously scrutinized using devices like ENDOSCAN to identify any potential damage, such as lens imperfections, cracks, or moisture on the inside of the scope. MICROFLEX BORESCOPES are used to inspect internal components on flexible endoscopes, shavers and instrumentation, and to visually validate cleaning effectiveness and identify areas of damage. Stop the guesswork when it comes to rigid scope inspection!
Here are three simple tips for evaluating rigid scopes.
1. Look at the distal end under magnification. Check for debris, cracks, chips and sealant deterioration. If dirty, clean and reinspect. Remove damaged scopes from use.
2. Visually inspect the image by looking down at something, not out into space. About 3" from the object is good.
3. When you're still not 100% sure if the image is clear, look "inside" using a device like EndoScan! If you confirm internal damage, remove it from use and repair.
