More of trusting the process !

Building muscle in a calorie deficit CAN be done , even if it’s the slowest process on Earth! Consistency , progressive overload , protein, and patience is the name of the game !

Stay the course !
It’s taken me since March of 2021 to drop almost 100 pounds .. and I’m still about 10 pounds away from hitting that .

There have been times where I have wanted to quit , but one thing that helped me hang on was knowing that I had people counting on me ..

How can I say I’m a trainer or group fitness instructor if I’m gonna quit on myself because the scale didn’t move !

In the past 6 months I have been so desperate to see a number on a scale that I lost soooo much muscle , strength , and sure the scale was moving .. but at what cost !??

I have not stoped working out EVER in 5 whole years .. and I never ever will ..

But today was day 1 of going back to doing the right things , the right way !

No more too restrictive calorie intake to see a number on a scale .. I promise you it’s not worth it !

My face started looking older and sunk in .. and worst of all I lost so much of the strength I had worked for !

Skinny isn’t always the answer … as much as we want to feel small

As hard as it is to admit when I’m wrong lol
I was wrong and I will always be transparent with my clients about my own journey !

Here’s to sticking it through for forever and not rushing it !!

Checking in lovelies !!
Pictured here before Pilates - can’t believe I’m saying this - as I used to be a die hard HIIT workout type a girl .. but adding Pilates to my weight training routine has made such a difference in my physic and the overall feel of my body ! I encourage you to add in a Pilates , Pilates reformer , or yoga class to your weekly routine .

Bye for now 😘😘😘😘❤️💗

31 vs 41 only about a 15 pound difference between left and right photos - remember that our bodies look different as we age , so trying to get your old body back keeps us in a bad head space - you can get to your old weight - but it may look different and that’s ok !

Keep working mamas !
