The 59ers stumbled early and spotted Line Drive a 7-1 lead after the first inning. The boys fought hard and counter-punched with 5 runs of their own in the 2nd inning. But the team fell short and lost in the championship 9-8. Despite the championship game loss the 59ers showed a lot of toughness, character and a never-say-die attitude all weekend and that is going to take them a long way in our college showcase tournaments at Oakland University, Northwestern University and Ohio State. Great job boys!
