The players from New American Heritage Sports league Columbus, Ohio state have received an official invitation from several sports officials in the state of Minnesota, particularly in the Minneapolis area, to participate in a series of friendly matches over the next three days.
Insha’Allah the games and the tournament will officially conclude on Sunday, with the championship trophy being presented at the closing ceremony. 🏆⚽️
It is a great opportunity to build sportsmanship, friendship, teamwork, and stronger connections between the soccer communities of Ohio and Minnesota.
We are currently in the preparation stages for the soccer tournament that will be held in September 2026 at SoccerOne in Worthington, Ohio. We are excited to bring teams and the community together for a competitive and memorable tournament

I would like to sincerely thank the Columbus Crew for generously providing 25 tickets for today’s exciting match.
This is a great beginning toward building a strong partnership between the Columbus Crew and New American Heritage Sports League. We believe there is a tremendous opportunity for collaboration, especially because we work closely with the young people who represent the future of Columbus Crew and our community.
I truly appreciate the Columbus Crew management for opening the door to this partnership, and I would also like to extend my special thanks to state representative Ismail Mohamed for his important role and support in making this opportunity possible.
I look forward to seeing this relationship grow into a meaningful and lasting partnership. Together, we can create more opportunities for our youth through sports.
Today I had the honor of attending an exciting match between Columbus Crew and UNAM Pumas taking place here in Mexico.
I am truly grateful for the invitation extended by the senior leadership of Columbus Crew to the New American Heritage Sports League Organization

Otango FC has not only defended their title with back-to-back championship victories, but they have also emerged as champions of one of the largest Somali diaspora football tournaments in North America—an incredible achievement that reflects hard work, unity, and excellence.
This historic accomplishment belongs to every player who gave their all on the pitch, the coaching staff whose leadership inspired success, and the supporters, partners, and community members who continue to invest in the future of our youth and athletes.

Congratulations to these two players representing the Qatar national team, whose roots are Somali. Football is a global game, and it is the sport I support and enjoy the most. As the World Cup is currently underway, I am proudly cheering for my beloved country, the United States. I hope Team USA will go all the way and lift the trophy. Congratulations to all players of Somali origin who are representing their countries on the world stage, and best of luck to the USA Soccer Team in their quest for World Cup glory. 🇺🇸⚽🏆
