As we reflect on our Second Annual Small City Slicers Charity Scramble at Quail Run Golf Course, we're filled with gratitude.
This event would not have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, the amazing staff at Quail Run, our sponsors, and every golfer who came out to support our mission. Your time, generosity, and encouragement are what make events like this possible.

One of the biggest highlights of this year's Small City Slicers Charity Scramble was our two $10,000 Hole-in-One opportunities on Holes 4 and 14, each paired with an incredible Dormie Network golf getaway package valued at $5,400! It was awesome watching so many golfers take their shot at an unforgettable prize. We had a couple of tee shots that rolled painfully close to the cup—close enough to get everyone's heart racing, but not quite close enough to make someone $10,000 richer! While we didn't crown a winner this year, that's just one more reason to come back and give it another shot next year. Thanks to everyone who stepped up to the tee, had some fun, and helped make this event such a great success!

At Small City Slicers, one of our favorite traditions is creating our signature RASKETS—a combination of a raffle and a basket. They're more than just prizes; they're our way of giving back, showing appreciation, and bringing a little extra excitement to every event.
Each RASKET is thoughtfully put together with the help of generous sponsors, donors, and community supporters who believe in our mission. Whether they're awarded at one of our charity golf scrambles or donated to another organization's fundraiser or silent auction, we're proud to use them to help support great causes throughout our community.

As the Columbus Mariners season comes to a close, I can't help but smile. I'm incredibly proud of these boys—not just for the wins and the great plays, but for how much they grew as teammates, athletes, and young men. They somehow all got taller this year... which isn't saying much when you're standing next to a guy who's only 5'7"! 😂 The memories made, the miles traveled, the friendships built with families and coaches, and the lessons learned are what youth sports are really all about. Experiences like these help shape confidence, character, and lifelong relationships. At Small City Slicers, we believe every child deserves that opportunity, which is why we're committed to helping sponsor kids in all sports so more families can experience moments like these. Thank you, Mariners, for an unforgettable season. The future is bright!
