The Buckeyes will be playing the Columbus Capitals again this Sunday at 1:00 @ Sharon Woods in Westerville, Ohio. Come out and see 1867 base ball at its finest.

Hidden in the back of a park amongst the beautiful trees, a game was held between two teams that have not scheduled a game with eachother for many years. If you were to squint your eyes, your brain would take you back to 2010 when we first starting playing these gentlemen. It was great to take the field with the Columbus Capitals in a game of 1867 WT rules base ball. The Capitals proved to be a worthy opponnet as they struck the ball hard and played great defense. Our boys also came to play and knock off the rust from last year. Great striking and great defense showed that both teams will be ready for the WT in August. Thank you for hosting us. See you again in May.

The Columbus Buckeyes are looking for a few good men! We are interested in adding as many as 4 players for this upcoming season. If you are a fan of history and base ball and would like to play competitive ball, please reach out. We'd love to talk with you.

The Columbus Buckeyes are looking for a team or two to join us Sat. July 4 for America 250 in Mt. Vernon, OH. The small city is looking to celebrate America's founding and the history of base ball within the quaint confines of Mt. Vernon. Please consider. We are looking to play 1867 "fly rules" and if we can get two teams, we can all play eachother that day.

The Columbus Buckeyes hosted the fine teams the Akron Black Stockings and the Crossing Rails of Alliance for the Tri-City Showdown 1867 Base Ball. The striking was fierce and and the fielding was clean as the Buckeyes prevailed over our friends the Akron Black Stockings and Alliance Crossing Rails to claim the Championship Banner. Thank you to Scioto Audubon Metro Park for allowing us to play at our home park, thank you Gerard Milewski and Kurt Beckers for umpiring the three fine matches. Thank you to Kolton Wilson, Michael Haney, and Hunter Wilson as they ended their season with us, as the rest of the Buckeyes head to Durham, NC to play 3 more games to finish out our season. Hurrah to all three teams!

The Columbus Buckeyes will be hosting the Akron Black Stockings and the Alliance Crossing Rails next Sunday Sept. 21 at Scioto Audubon Metro Park ! First game will be at 11:00 with Columbus and Akron playing by the rules of 1867. Then, Akron Faces off vs. Alliance, with the final game pitting Columbus vs. Alliance. All game are free! Come check out the Buckeyes for their last chance to see them in Ohio this season.
