Futsal and soccer players with a willingness to be challenged and improve are encouraged to attend and learn from these international professionals!

This is a rare opportunity for youth players to train with two incredible coaches from Argentina:

-Argentina Men’s National Futsal Team Head Coach
-2016 Futsal World Cup Champion as Assistant Coach
-2021 and 2024 Futsal World Cup Finalist as Head Coach
-Former Argentina National Team Player
-Former player in Spain

Julia Dupuy
-Argentina Women’s National Futsal Team Player
-Spaniard Club Team Player
-Played in the first-ever FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup

Players will experience futsal training exercises from coaches who have competed and coached at the highest level in the world, and continue developing the creativity, speed, decision-making, and technical skill that make futsal so powerful.

Camp Details:
Dates: June 9–10, 9am-4pm
Location: Heatwave Arena (Dublin/Plain City)
Who: Boys & Girls ages 8–15
Cost: $250 per player
Included: Camp t-shirt and Senda futsal ball
MVP Awards: Camper MVPs can earn swag and gear from Senda each day!

Yesterday, Columbus Futsal president, Malissa Galiffo Garcia, sat down with Mayor Ginther and local female athletes to dive into the local female sports scene. Conversations like this help create more opportunities for women and girls in sport across our city. We need everyone at the table to keep Columbus moving forward. Thankful that futsal can be a small piece of the conversation and the new Ignite Her initiative. 🩵⚽️

Before the teams, leagues, tournaments, championships, and thousands of players impacted across Columbus…

There was a 7-year-old first-generation American kid wearing a Columbus Recreation and Parks jersey with pride while competing internationally at Copa de la Amistad in Peru. 🇵🇪

What started with humble community soccer beginnings through CRPD eventually became the foundation for what Columbus Futsal is today — an organization that for the last 20 years has created opportunities, pathways, culture, mentorship, and unforgettable experiences for youth and adults throughout our city and those very same parks.

This game has always been bigger than futbol. It’s about identity, community, culture, and carrying where you come from with pride.

Fun fact: that same year, a young Lionel Messi competed in Copa de la Amistad with Newell’s Old Boys — and returned to Rosario as champions. Crazy how far the game can take you. ❤️⚽
