2026 OVPC motor tech update effective January 9th 2026:

As with any growing series or sanctioning body there are changes/additions to rules to make the competition as fair as possible. We have 2 rule additions for 2026:

1. A stock Predator carb without the air/fuel mixture screw must be used on all OVPC Predator motors. This includes the box stock option.

2. Stock keyway and keyway location for flywheel must remain stock on all Predator motors.

This announcement is 5 weeks ahead of the next OVPC classes being used at The Polar Bear Bash January 10th 2026.

AJ Cannon, Bear Tamasovich, Sean Lynd and many other kart shops can verify the Predator carb. Please reach out to them asap if you need help identifying your carb to be legal. Contact Bear at (614) 588-3633 for any questions.

An awesome ending to the OVPC season for the ninth event at Honda Hills Saturday. 15 entries took to the newly formed track. Thank you to Jeff Baker, Andy Novak, Tim Sposato, Bob Wright (BAT Karting Club), and the entire staff for providing an event and facility to race at. The track got better all evening and the racing was stellar. Congratulations to our feature winners.
