Step 1 Allstars

It is with heavy hearts, we announce after 23 amazing seasons, Step 1 Allstars Columbus will be ending our journey. This decision did not come easily and is accompanied by an array of emotions; at this time, our personal and family lives, are pulling us in a different direction that we can’t ignore.

We are incredibly proud of all we have experienced as a program. With our love of this program and everything we have built, we prefer to end our journey with pride, rather than turn it over to anyone else. This program has been our love for the majority of our lives, and for that reason we feel this is the right time to say goodbye.

In 2002, our program was founded with a mission to bring something special to the greater Columbus allstar community. We spent the first decade setting new trends with cutting edge choreography, and a style to be remembered. Over that time, we also earned a reputation as one of the best programs in the Midwest region. Our second decade brought continued growth and success amongst the Allstar industry, with continued competitive achievements across the nations best events. These included, but were not limited to, multiple Summit Wins, Multiple top 10 finishes at The Cheerleading and Dance Worlds, and Hundreds of National Titles.

The true victories came outside of our wins on the competition floor. We created a family that extends across thousands of alumni and their families. We have had the privilege of seeing athletes get married, start families, and bring their own children back to our program. We have watched athletes find success in their adult lives in every career imaginable, from doctors to WWE stars. Many have continued to coach for us and instill their passion into the athletes after them.

While our time in Columbus comes to an end, our legacy lives on through Step 1 Allstars North. While the Step 1 Name was brought to North with one of our alumni,
the two have never shared ownership or business identities. Our North location will continue to thrive as they have for the last 10 years.

We invite all of our alumni to share their fond memories, pictures, and favorite moments below. While this is a hard life change for us, we take comfort in our amazing memories. Thank you for the journey of a lifetime!
