We are in need of a few refs to help finish up our final weekend of basketball. Please share with any high schoolers who might be able to help.

An email was sent to all 3/4 boys teams but posting it here too about our tournament next Saturday!

This will be a double-elimination tournament. With that format, some teams could end up playing several games throughout the day. Games will begin between 8:00–9:00 AM, and the tournament should wrap up around 3:30 PM for teams that make it to the championship game.

We have 8 total teams participating — 4 CP teams and 4 Sparta teams. Brackets and the full schedule will be released by Tuesday this week.

Game format:

Two 15-minute halves

Running clock

All other rules will remain the same as the regular season

We will be awarding trophies for 1st place and medals for 2nd place.

Although this is a tournament, our main goal is still for the players to have fun. Good sportsmanship is a must! Please be respectful and kind to all coaches, players, referees, and volunteers throughout the day.

We’re looking for volunteers to help with our End-of-Season Tournament for 3rd/4th grade teams on March 7 at the high school! As well as the next few weeks to finish out the season💛

This is a fun full day for our players, and we can’t do it without help from our amazing community. 💚

We need help with:
• Scorekeeping
• Setup & cleanup
• General tournament support

This program is open to anyone — you do not have to be a Comstock Park student, so please help us spread the word!

This will be events-only on Friday nights (end of April & May) so kids can still participate while playing other sports.

We’re excited to get this off the ground and can’t wait to see our kids out on the track! 🙌
