Randolph Mantooth (aka Johnny Gage) has passed away at age 80 on July 10, 2026. He was an inspiration and motivated many of us to choose the career path we did. The show highlighted the medical aspect of the fire service and even was the catalyst that led to the creation of many fire-based EMS services.

RIP Johnny and thank you for the many memories and your indirect mentorship.
