🏔️🥎 COLORADO SPARKLER RECAP 🥎🏔️

What an unforgettable week it was for American Freedom HTX National 2K11.

Our girls finished the tournament with two more hard-earned victories, defeating Athletics Mercado Garcia (Vista, CA) and Rocky Mountain Thunder Stilley (Littleton, CO) to advance to the final consolation bracket game. In an incredible battle, we faced Finesse Blackswamp (Toledo, OH) for the second time in as many days. After falling 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh on Friday, the rematch was just as competitive, with our girls coming up just short in a 6-5 finish in the bottom of the seventh again.

While we didn’t bring home the championship trophy, we couldn’t be more proud of the way this team competed. They represented American Freedom with toughness, resilience, and heart every single game. This group proved they can compete with some of the best teams in the country, and that’s something to be proud of.

This tournament also marked the end of an era for our team.

For the past 6 years, Coach Kevin has poured his heart into these girls, helping shape them not only into better softball players, but into better young women. His leadership, countless hours, and unwavering commitment have helped build the foundation of this team. As he and his family begin their next chapter in North Carolina, we want to thank him for everything he has done. You will be deeply missed, Coach.

And to Carly “Red” Butler—thank you for everything you’ve brought to this team. You’ve been far more than an outstanding player in the field and at the plate. You’ve been a teammate everyone could count on, a friend who lifted others up, and a sister to this team. Your impact will be felt long after your final game in an American Freedom uniform.

Though this chapter is coming to a close, the memories, friendships, and lessons will last forever.

Thank you to our families, friends, and supporters who followed us throughout our journey in Colorado. We appreciate every cheer, every message, and every ounce of support.

🇺🇸🥎 Happy 4th of July from American Freedom HTX National 2K11! 🥎🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate the freedom to play the game we love while honoring the brave men and women who have made that freedom possible. We hope everyone has a safe and memorable Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙

Yesterday was another day of great competition in Colorado. The girls battled their way to a 7-5 victory over CO Wild. In the afternoon, they fought until the very last out but came up just short in a 3-2 loss to Finesse Blackswamp (Toledo, OH) in an exciting game that wasn’t decided until the bottom of the seventh inning.

Now it’s time to battle back! Our girls have earned a 12:00 PM MST start, where they’ll face the winner of CASE Batbusters, Colorado Force, or Athletics Mercado Garcia. A victory keeps the journey alive with the opportunity to play for a spot in the championship later this afternoon.

This team has shown incredible grit, resilience, and heart all week long, and we’re excited for another chance to compete on one of the biggest stages in travel softball.

Thank you to everyone following along and cheering us on from home and here in Colorado. Your support means the world to our players.

🏔️🥎 DAY 2 RECAP – COLORADO SPARKLER 🥎🏔️

What a day for American Freedom HTX National 2K11! The girls came out focused, played with confidence, and put together an outstanding day on the field, earning three impressive victories to continue their strong run in Colorado. 💪🔥

The offense was clicking, the defense made the routine and spectacular plays, and our pitchers kept opponents in check all day long. It was a true team effort from top to bottom.

💥 A special shoutout goes to Scarlet Stilwell, who launched a 3-run home run and now leads the team with 7 RBIs in the tournament! What a performance at the plate! 👏🥎

We’re proud of the way these girls continue to compete, support one another, and represent the Freedom family. The job isn’t finished, and we’re excited to see what the rest of the tournament has in store as we start bracket play today against CO Wild - 2012 Rummel at Twin Rivers Park in Greeley, CO at 4pm MST.

Between a long rain delay and Schedule getting changed we played 1 game yesterday and it came down to the last inning where we ended up losing 6-5. Our second game was moved to Thursday afternoon. Today we keep our chins up because we’re going to have some fun on the river! White water rafting to start off our Wednesday!

🏔️🥎 COLORADO, HERE WE COME! 🥎🏔️

American Freedom HTX National 2K11 is headed to the Colorado 4th of July Sparkler Tournament, and we’re ready to compete against some of the best teams from around the country! 💙❤️🤍

The week kicks off with the 14U Showcase on Monday, where five of our athletes will have the opportunity to showcase their talents, followed by pool play on Tuesday and Thursday before bracket play begins.

We’re excited for the experience, the competition, and the opportunity to represent our organization on one of the biggest stages in travel softball.

Safe travels to all of our players, families, and supporters making the trip. We can’t wait to get to work!
