In consideration of the low crime rate in Jonesboro Arkansas relative to the St. Charles/St. Louis Missouri area, and my concern for the well-being of all my fellow Central Arkansas Bear fans, I am providing this little PSA.

Disappointing to see such gross incompetence have such a negative impact on this game and these two teams.
UCA rightfully feels cheated out of a tremendous comeback victory over a highly favored higher division program.
ASU has to feel embarrassed to have been outplayed by a lower division team and given a victory they didn't earn.
Sad to see poor officiating ruin what was a great game for 59 minutes and 57 seconds.
Nice to see the Sun Belt acknowledge the failure.

UCA almost pulled off the very rare "FCS over FBS" upset!
It's incredibly rare for an FCS team to out-perform an FBS team in the second half. The depth provided by those 90 FBS scholarships vs the 60 FCS scholarships usually shows up in fatigue by middle of the 3rd quarter. It was really impressive to see the FCS team dominate the FBS team in the second half. Could be a very interesting season for the Bears!!!

Very entertaining game tonight at UCA! With less than a minute and a half left in the game, Eastern Kentucky used a 49 second, 10 play, 97 yard drive to take a 24-21 lead, and apparently thought they had won the game! However, Bear attacks are quick, and they happen when you least expect them! With 19 seconds remaining The Bears used 4 plays to move 83 yards, including a 45 yard hail Mary with no time remaining to secure the win 27-24.
Definitely worth checking out a replay of the game on ESPN+!
