Atlanta Vipers 08 - Vaughn

The end of an era.

It has been an emotional 2 weeks as we officially bring the Atlanta Vipers 08 - Vaughn chapter to a close. We said goodbye to some of our girls at the Atlanta Legacy Invitational, and then concluded with a trip to California for PGF Nationals. And while it’s bittersweet to see this era come to a close, we are so excited for the future, and filled with gratitude!

We want to give a huge thanks to the parents, families, and coaches that have poured into these girls and this team over the years. It goes without saying that without the love, support, and dedication from all of you, none of it would have been possible!

To all of our girls (past and present), we want to say thank you for being you! Year after year, you always embodied what it meant to be true competitors, and good teammates. Creating bonds that will last long after your athletic careers are over. Supporting one another and lifting each other up on and off the field. Playing the right way. Never ducking competition and only wanting to play the best. Always being the type of players that coaches want to coach, and players want to play with. We are so proud of you all for the amazing athletes and young women that you have become!

To our 2026 girls, we say goodbye and good luck! We cant wait to see you live out your dreams at the next level! And to our 27’s, let’s go win some state championships!

We are looking to add some depth to our roster for PGF Nationals in California. If you are looking for the opportunity to get some reps against great competition with some great girls, give us a call! We are open to all positions, but C/UT is a specific need.

Due to injuries, we are looking to add a couple of player to our summer roster. We are specifically looking for players who want to play in Nationals in California. Whether you are committed and looking to get some great reps against other future college athletes, or you are uncommitted and looking to get some exposure in top events, give us a shout! Congrats to our girl Ada Gillenwater and her Abingdon teammates, as they punched their ticket to the state tournament and remain UNDEFEATED on the season.. Ada pitched her team to 6-2 victory with an 8 strikeout complete game performance! Keep it rolling, Ada!!

While we are warming up for the summer and getting into our spring schedule, our girl Ada Gillenwater is dominating in her senior high school season. Ada and her Abingdon teammates are currently sitting at 19-0, and just won the Mountain 7 District regular season championship on the strength of a two-hit shutout from Ada! Keep it rolling, Ada!! We are proud of you!

We are looking to add a pitcher to our talented group for the summer. With our team being a Senior heavy group, we will be missing some of our girls at various events throughout the summer. If you are a pitcher and you are looking to get reps (and exposure) with a talented group of girls (14 College Commits) against the best talent in the country, give us a shout. After a thousand proms and school functions and spring breaks, our girls were finally able to take the field together! Great start to the season, going 3-0 today. Back at it tomorrow morning!
