Team Bullpen Fastpitch 2035 - Satterfield

Today was truly a celebration! Even though we were missing a few girls, this was the perfect way to end this spring season.

With that being said, this was not only the end of the Spring Season, but also the end for this incredible team. I just want to thank everyone who was involved in making this team what it was.

When I decided to take the head coach spot, I only had 5 committed girls; through great guidance, I was able to have a solid 12 girls for both the fall and spring. From the parents to the players and the coaches I had, I truly thank you!

Carleigh Satterfield , I could not have done any of this without you. You stood strong through everything and this team wouldn’t have been what it was without you!

T.J. Bruce & Morgan Ashley Chumbler , y’all are truly a gift to this game. I never looked at y’all as “assistant” coaches. Without your knowledge of this game, I would have been lost in plenty of situations. Thank y’all!!

To the girls, if you don’t remember anything I taught you, always remember: next play. Be a Goldfish!!

After showing out yesterday, these girls finished what they came to do. Coming into bracket play ranked #1.

Winning the first bracket game to advance to the championship. That is where their true grit and determination came out in all of them. Battling back from being down 6-2 in the bottom of the 5th to finishing the drill winning 10-8!!!!

So proud of these girls and we aren’t done just yet!

💢❌Gold Bracket Finalist Runner Ups! ❌💢

These girls faced something new yesterday and I’m so proud of them on how they gave it their all. We had to “luxury” of having a 12:30 start. Little did we know we would play 3 games back to back to back. Then to have a 3 hour break before our first bracket game.

Proud of them for going 3-0 in pool and winning the first bracket game. We did fall short in the Championship Game to a solid AP team! Finishing 4-1 on the day. So many girls stepped up and made big plays when we needed them.

Proud of them and onto the next tournament on 5/30/26!

This will be our last local(ish) tournament of the season, so come out and cheer on these hardworking girls as they hit the field one more time close to home! ❤️🩵

Anything but the bat/glove practice was a SUCCESS 😂🥎

Last night’s practice featured some elite athletic equipment including skim boards, golf clubs, lacrosse sticks, a wooden horse stick, buckets and probably a few things that should’ve stayed at home 🤪

Safe to say… our girls understood the assignment!

Between the laughs, the chaos, and the creativity, this team reminded us that softball is supposed to be FUN. These girls work hard, compete hard, and last night they definitely laughed hard too. ❤️🖤
