Today, the Cornwall Champions Club joins our community and our nation in remembering the lives lost on September 11, 2001.
We honor the innocent lives taken, the first responders who ran toward danger, the families who lost loved ones, and the countless acts of courage and sacrifice that followed.
As we teach our children what it means to be part of a team and a community, we also teach them the importance of courage, unity, service, and remembering those who came before us.

Some people just show up. Sallie and the Gonzales family go above and beyond always putting the kids first! 🏈💚

With three players across three different divisions, she already spends more than enough time on the football field — and somehow still finds the time to do so much for CYFL and our football families. From tailgates to helping organize things behind the scenes, jumping in wherever she’s needed.

SallyeAnder has donated socks to all our football players for several years. This year the players were gifted pink and American flag socks. Wearing pink socks, shows solidarity with those affected by breast cancer. Those socks will be worn durning October. October is breast cancer awareness month. Players wear American flag socks around September 11 to honor the victims and heroes of the 2001 terrorist attacks. We will never forget as a community.

Sallie, thank you for everything you do and for the generosity of SallyeAnder. It doesn’t go unnoticed, and we’re so lucky to have you as part of our football family! 🏈💚
