🏆 STORM KING RANGERS 11U ARE CHAMPIONS! 🏆

In true championship fashion, the Storm King Rangers 11U walked it off Sunday afternoon, defeating the Rebels 11U 4-3 to take home the CHIP! 🏆⚾️

Trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Luke M. stepped to the plate and delivered the moment every ballplayer dreams about — a WALK-OFF 2-RUN HOME RUN TO CENTER FIELD. 🎙️🔥

BALL. GAME. CHAMPIONSHIP.

The Rangers struck first with an RBI single from Liam M. in the first, then added another in the third to take a 2-0 lead.

The Rebels battled back to tie it in the fifth and took a 3-2 lead in the seventh.

But this Rangers team wasn’t done.

They saved their best for last.

On the mound, Jude V. battled through 5⅓ innings, allowing just 2 runs while striking out 4. Luke M. closed it out and earned the win.

And when the moment arrived, the bottom of the lineup delivered the biggest swing of the tournament.

BOTTOM OF THE LINEUP. TOP OF THE GAME.

The Storm King Rangers 11U are headed to the CHAMPIONSHIP GAME after cruising past NEPA9 11U, 13-3! 💪🔥

And it was the bottom of the order doing the heavy lifting.

Luke M., Hughie L., and JD D. combined for 4 of the Rangers’ 8 hits, scoring 5 runs and driving in 3 as the Rangers’ lineup proved there are no easy outs on this team.

⚡ 7-RUN FIRST INNING ⚡

The Rangers came out swinging in the opening frame, putting seven runs on the board and never looking back.

Liam M. worked a walk and came around to score. Finn E. ripped a double to plate two. An error brought another run home. Luke M. drew a walk and scored. Hughie L. tagged up to score, and a passed ball added one more.

13 runs. 8 hits. 1 championship opportunity.

The Rangers came out swinging on Saturday, putting together 28 runs across two games while racking up 20 hits, 14 walks and 6 stolen bases.

💣 Liam M. was absolutely locked in, going yard twice in Game 2 and driving in 4 runs.
🔥 Casey and Finn each drove in 3 runs in Game 1.
⚾️ Finn earned the Game 1 win, striking out 5 over 3 innings.

Two games. Two wins. 28 runs. 20 hits. 0 errors.

🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨

BACK-TO-BACK. CHAMPIONS.

The Storm King Rangers 11U are your Stars & Stripes Tournament Champions for the second straight year, grinding out a 3-1 victory over the Yorktown Huskers in a true championship pitcher’s duel.

Carter T. was simply dominant.
6 complete innings. 3 hits. 1 run. 9 strikeouts. One championship performance.

After falling behind early, the Rangers stayed composed. In the fourth inning, Luke M. delivered the clutch RBI single to tie things up before the Rangers capitalized on a passed ball to plate two more and take control for good.

Carter also led the offense with 2 hits, while the defense was flawless behind him. Not a single error all game, highlighted by a huge double play and Hughie L. recording eight defensive outs.

Championship teams find ways to win. This group battled, trusted each other, and defended their title.

💥The Storm King Rangers split Day 1 of tournament play, finishing 1-1 against some tough competition.💥

Game 1: A strong 14-6 win over the Pirates behind 14 hits, six stolen bases, and an error-free defensive effort. A complete team win!

Game 2: The Rangers battled but came up short against the New Rochelle Knights, 7-3. The boys continued to play clean baseball with another error-free game, showing grit and never backing down.

Now it’s time to turn the page…
