Embracing the humility and compassion of Christ's spirit in our interactions is not just about outward expressions; it's a reflection of our inner dialogue, too. When we communicate, whether in person or through our writing, we aim to infuse our words with the gentleness and kindness that Christ exemplified. (Think seasoned salt.) This approach isn't a sign of timidity but a bold testament of the values we believe in and carry. As we live and witness to others, let's ensure our self-talk and our outward dialogue match.
Now I, Paul, appeal to you with the gentleness and kindness of Christ—though I realize you think I am timid in person and bold only when I write from far away.
2 Corinthians 10:1

Only by God's grace am I able to explain to those who are against me, the reason for my hope in a gentle and respectful manner while I am suffering. In the midst of challenges, it's grace that guides me to respond with hope and kindness.

"Let me say first that I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith in him is being talked about all over the world."

My goodness. I don't know about you guys but this scripture brings such comfort.
That the God who created me/you WILL continue HIS work in us until the day Christ Jesus return. He saw the end from the beginning and He knows our needs, ours areas of growth, and what exactly we need to walk His will out. No matter where you are. He's not done with you yet!
Prayer: I praise your name Father and thank you. You are in control. You are the overseer and perfector of my faith and future. The good work you began in me I am confident you will complete it!

Happy Fri-yay! This week's question. How has God gotten me through the deep waters, the rivers of difficulty, and the fire of oppression? Am I truly aware of the goodness of His presence with me?

As we lay our heads let’s reflect on these things. 💛
I have all I need as I walk with the Holy Spirit. He leads me, renews my strength, guides me, and comforts me. He anoints my head with oil. My cup is overflowing with blessings. There is nothing to fear - not my past, future, or present, for He is with me. I am living in His grace.

Happy Fri-yay! Today's Prayer:
Lord God, may the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart spring from Your life giving and sustaining spring of loving-kindness. May I not only taste the sweetness of kindness but also extend it to others.
Father God, also help me choose sweet and not sour words. May my thoughts and speech be seasoned by Your mercy and loving-kindness.
Amen.
