Table Tennis Blades I build table tennis blades one at a time. I also provide custom design & construction of blades specific to your style of play.

Most of my blades are balsa core, covered with 1 layer of fibergalss mesh, then topped with various veneers (most often sapele or rosewood). This makes for an exceptionally fast yet sensitive blade. Most are in the upper 60 to lower 70 grams weight. Check out my website or email me for more info.

Texas Senior State Games coming up next weekend in San Antonio. For the first time ever, my wife Carolyn, her sister Sherri, my Father-in-Law Doc and I are all playing in the same tournament. Each of us in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. If we all place high enough, we can qualify for the Senior Nationals next summer in Minneapolis. This is the only chance in Texas to qualify for the Nationals next year. Wish us luck.

Sent a new backup blade to Jeff Smart (1957 rating) in Maryland. He's going to be playing in the Senior Games in Cleveland. He did exceptional in the US Open earlier this year. Good luck.

Incredible night of play @ Hawaii Table Tennis Club. Talk about out of my element. The level of play was amazing. I may as well have shown up in Beijing to play. Never enjoyed getting beat so much before.

This is the new Spade Series "Flash Of Brilliance" blade. The first is going to Steve Hochman & Jeff Smart ( 2011 US Open Over 50 Men's Doubles Silver Medal Winners) for demo. I look forward to their critique of this new weapon.
