SWIMSUIT COLOR MATTERS. 👀💦
Not all swimsuit colors are equally visible underwater.
Some colors blend into pool bottoms, shadows, murky water, or lake environments much faster than parents realize, making it harder to spot a child quickly in an emergency.
Bright, high-visibility colors can make a significant difference.
This is one of those small but powerful water safety details families often overlook, so I wanted to share this visual as we head into summer. 🤍
Water safety happens in layers:
✔️ Active supervision
✔️ Survival swim lessons
✔️ Secure barriers
✔️ Life jackets when appropriate
✔️ High-visibility swimwear
Every layer matters. 💦

To the moms who place their trust in me every single day… 🤍
The ones handing me their babies for the very first time. 🫶🏽
The ones who take that step, even when it feels emotional or hard.
The ones who continue showing up day after day because they know preparation matters. 💦
I see you.
I see the trust it takes to place your child in someone else’s arms.
I see the love behind every decision you make.
And I see the deep desire every mother has to keep her child safe. 🤍
Because this has always been about so much more than swim lessons.
It’s about protection.
Preparation.
Confidence.
And giving children skills that could one day save their life. 🛟
None of this works without the parents standing behind it all with consistency, trust, and love.
So today, I celebrate the moms who choose to prepare with intention and love.
The moms who choose safety.
The moms who trust me with what matters most. ✨
Happy Mother’s Day to all of our incredible Safe & Strong Swim Academy moms. 💐

This. 👏🏽
One of the biggest things I try to teach families is that water safety is never just one thing, it’s layers of protection working together.
Active supervision.
Barriers and pool safety.
Water awareness.
And survival swim skills that prepare children for real-life situations in and around the water.
As we head into summer and Water Safety Awareness Month, these conversations matter more than ever. 🤍💦
So grateful to see survival swim instruction and drowning prevention continuing to be part of the national conversation.

Water safety doesn’t stop at the pool. 💦
May is Water Safety Awareness Month, and this conversation matters more than ever.
While I specialize in teaching infants and young children survival swim, I never want the conversation to end there. Because water safety spans every environment, bathtubs, pools, oceans, lakes, and rivers and it applies to every stage of life.
At the beach, one of the greatest dangers is something you can’t always see: rip currents. 🌊
Fast, powerful, and often misunderstood, they are a reminder of just how important awareness truly is.
At our recent Coffee & Water Safety for Moms event, we had the opportunity to hear from organizations doing meaningful work across different areas of water safety. The Je'Sani Smith Foundation shared insight on beach and rip current and beach safety, while the Chris Ruiz Foundation spoke on life jacket use and boating safety, emphasizing protection across all ages and stages of a family. 🛟
These conversations matter.
They expand awareness.
And they help make our community safer.
I don’t just want to teach lessons, I want to be part of a movement that brings water safety awareness to every environment and every family.
Because real safety happens when the conversation never stops. 🤍
For more education on rip currents and beach safety, I encourage you to connect with the Je'Sani Smith Foundation, they offer valuable resources for our community and families.
Let’s get beach safe this summer. 🌊☀️

I’ve been sitting with this for a moment… because “thank you” just doesn’t feel big enough.
To every family who trusted me with your child…
to every referral, every message, every kind word, I carry that with me deeply.
Because this has never been just swim lessons to me.
When families come to me, they don’t stay clients…
they become family 🤍
This work is personal. The relationships we build are real.
I’ve been welcomed into your homes, invited to sit down for dinner, to birthday parties, to family get-togethers and celebrations… and those moments mean more to me than I can fully express.
I don’t take that lightly. I come into every lesson with intention, gratitude, and a deep respect for the families I serve.
To my new families, my returning families, and those who have shared my name with others, thank you for believing in the mission, for trusting me, and for allowing me to be part of your children’s lives.
This isn’t just what I do.
This is something I hold close to my heart.
I am so incredibly grateful for this community. 🙏
Building confident, prepared, water-wise children…
and relationships that go far beyond the water. 💦🐘
I love you all.

Thought we were having breakfast and coffee… 😭
And somehow, I ended up on a RADIO SHOW talking about water safety in our community and Safe & Strong Swim Academy. Like… what just happened?! 🥹
But the part I can’t get over…
This was with , on 104.5 The Eagle, on the Pretty Fugly Morning Show!
Someone who has known me since I was a little girl…
and somehow, life brought us back together at this exact moment.
And now she’s the General Manager of ICA Broadcasting… and I’m sitting there sharing my heart, my mission, and what I’ve built. 💦🐘
FULL. CIRCLE. MOMENT.
The kind you pray for. The kind you don’t even realize is coming.
I will never get over this. Ever.
Kelly, I love you. Thank you so much for this opportunity. 🤍
Thank you to every family who has trusted me, supported me, and believed in what I do… this moment felt bigger than just me. It felt like everything coming together.
Still shaking. Still in awe. Still so, so grateful. 🤍✨

Summer is almost full. 🤍💦
Just 3 remaining lesson times for our upcoming session.
At Safe and Strong Swim Academy, all lessons are one-on-one private instruction, allowing each child to receive personalized, focused attention while learning essential, life-saving water safety skills.
Spots are intentionally limited to protect the quality and consistency each swimmer receives.
Once these final times are filled, the schedule will be fully booked.
✨ Summer session begins soon
📍 Private heated pool at Bahia Del Oso
If you’ve been considering lessons for your child, now is the time to secure your spot.

I’m honored to share that I’ve been selected as a presenter for the Charter for Compassion Conference 2026. 🫶🏽
I’ll be speaking on water safety and the life-saving impact of early survival swim instruction for infants and young children. 👶🏽🛟🧒
Drowning remains the leading cause of accidental death in children ages 1–4, and it is something we can actively work to prevent through education, awareness, and early skill development.
At Safe & Strong Swim Academy, this is the foundation of our work, building confident, prepared, water-wise children through real, life-saving skills. 💦🐘
It’s a privilege to be part of this important conversation and to continue serving families in our community.
I’m so thankful for the community that supports me and for the families who believe in this mission and partner with me in raising more confident, prepared, water-wise children across the Coastal Bend. 🤍
If you’d like to join the live session, I’ve shared the details in the comments below. 💻

Sometimes doors open because we knock…
and sometimes they open because God places the right people in our path 🤍
What started as a simple moment at &brewcc has grown into something purposeful.
Coffee & Water Safety for Moms was created to bring awareness, education, and meaningful conversation around water safety to our community.🌊⛱️
This is more than an event, it’s a step toward filling a gap that’s long been missing.
A true milestone moment, and the beginning of something greater for water safety in the Coastal Bend.💙
Grateful for Annie and her partnership in bringing this to life.🌸☕️🐘
Stay tuned… the plot thickens 🤍✨
