🏆 WARRIORS WIN AGAIN! 🏆

The Warriors captured their 3rd invitational championship of the season, winning the Texas A&M–Kingsville Javelina Invitational in dominant fashion!

The Warriors were led once again by Colton Anderwald, who claimed his 4th individual victory of the season. Devon Alaniz was right behind him with an outstanding 2nd-place finish.

Sophomores Landyn Huape, Noah Garcia, and Chase Rios rounded out the scoring, finishing 5th, 6th, and 9th, respectively.

This marked the final regular-season meet for the Warriors. Now the focus shifts to Championship Season as the boys look to carry their momentum into the biggest meets of the year!

The JV Warriors also had an outstanding day, finishing 2nd overall, just 3 points behind a very tough Alice squad.

The Warriors XC team finished 7th overall at the HOKA McNeil Invitational, competing against a loaded field featuring some of the top teams and runners in the state.

The Warriors were led by outstanding performances from Colton Anderwald, who finished 2nd overall, and Devon Alaniz, who finished 4th overall.

A strong showing on one of the biggest stages of the season as the Warriors continue building toward championship season.

🏆 JV BOYS — JR. TRIBAL INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONS! 🏆

The Warriors JV Boys XC team brought home the team championship at the Jr. Tribal Invitational, with incredible performances throughout the lineup!

Warriors Medalists:

A great team performance from top to bottom. The Warriors continue to show their depth, compete for one another, and improve every time they step on the course.

🏃‍♂️ WHAT A WEEKEND OF XC FOR THE WARRIORS! 🏃‍♂️

The Warriors were busy across South Texas this weekend, competing at two different meets!

On Friday, our JV division traveled to Malaquite Beach to compete at the Flour Bluff Invitational. Several of our athletes stepped up to compete in the Varsity Division, led by Brandon Gomez and Isaiah Salinas as the top finishers for the Warriors.

In the JV Division, Erik Sevilla earned a medal with an outstanding 8th-place finish! 🏅

Meanwhile, the Varsity Boys traveled to the RGV for the Donna Invitational, which featured some of the Valley’s top programs, including several state-ranked teams.

The Warriors finished 5th overall as a team in a highly competitive field, showing strong pack running and tight team groupings.

🥇 Colton Anderwald made it THREE STRAIGHT!

Colton finished on top for the third consecutive meet, capturing another individual gold medal while running a new 5K personal record of 16:01!

The boys continue to look stronger each week and are excited for what lies ahead as we move closer to Championship Season!

Our JV Boys return to action Wednesday, September 9, as Tuloso-Midway hosts the JR. Tribal Invitational at TMHS.

The Varsity Boys get a well-earned week off from racing before returning to competition at one of the state’s premier meets — the HOKA McNeil Invitational in Round Rock on Friday, September 18.
