Dave Nichols: I was born in Webster City, Iowa and started racing in 1958 with the Mid-States Racing Association and Mid-West Power Boat Association after moving to Hopkins, Minn.
In 1963 I relocated to Rossmoor, CA and continued racing with the Los Angeles Speed Boat Association. During this time I was sponsored by Outboard Marine Corp in Marathon Outboard Races.
In 1977 & 78 I owned and raced a sprint car.
Retired in 2005 to Sanger, TX and started racing again with National Boat Racing Association (NBRA). I was president of this organization in 2015 and 2016.
Due to Macular Degeneration I no longer race but am still active in NBRA and continue to build races motors.

Cherie Crews from Fort Worth, Texas, age 55, I currenly race in AH, BH, and CSH, this is my 3rd year as a driver, my husband (Dennis Crews) and son (Ryan Crews) also race.
