I have a SIMS Taperkick like the one shown...and hope to get some expertise > Was the grip tape standard when new? The wood needs help, any recommendations for a final finish...sating clear, or a wood wax, etc...goal to match how they came new. Thx!

Sims-wall/ceiling new arranged. Added the Nash Pumkin and the Shine Staab. Don´t understand why in reality the Pumpkin shines brighter than any other deck and on the pic it looks like simple orange, although I used the better cam of my wife´s S9+.
What is the status of Sims?
I haven’t seen any reissued decks in recent years. I remember a few years back seeing Buck Smith and Bandito decks reissued.

SIMS classic skateboards and wheels - Official Page Sims Skateboards was started in Santa Barbara by Tom Sims back in 1975.
We have relaunched it at full speed in 2010 with a whole array of old school decks, wheels, clothing.
