What a cold and wet weekend, but it finally felt like football season! 🏈

It was great getting the chance to visit with so many parents. My biggest takeaway was clear: you want to help, you want to be involved — and WE WANT YOU right there with us.

To kick things off, we’re looking for one parent from each team to help with our Partner with a Player activity. This includes handing out the bags for players to decorate and helping coordinate the fun for your team.

To keep it simple, we’ll take the first volunteer from each team. Just send us a message on FB with your name and your player’s grade level/coach. Once we have one parent for each team, I’ll reach out with the details.

And don’t worry — there will be plenty of other opportunities to jump in throughout the season. We appreciate your eagerness to help, and we promise not to take advantage of it.

Lynx football camp is tomorrow, August 7th from 6-8 at the Wick. Open to all 3-8th graders. Come join the highschool staff and players for a night of instruction and fun. Registrations forms will be available at the gate. This is free for all ALFA football players. Let’s try to get as many ALFA players there as we can. See you there!
